"To top it off, we had an Irish coffee that was one of the best I've had in years, and I'm Irish! The restaurant has an intimate setting, which was perfect since it's located near the harbor. The owner, Milo, was polite and truly a class act. His staff, Dianna and Sarah, were fantastic and efficient; nothing was too difficult for them, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Everything was immaculate, both in the restrooms and throughout the restaurant, creating a beautiful atmosphere. They even managed to arrange a taxi for us at the end when it seemed like it might not happen. Such a thoughtful gesture! Their customer service skills are top-notch—100 out of 100! We are so happy we stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. It had a relaxing and slightly romantic ambiance. Thank you once again to everyone for being so welcoming. The food was amazing, and the chef deserves a big bravo!"

I visited the restaurant by chance and was lucky to secure a table. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The food was excellent, with a great selection on the menu at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and everything was very clean. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The facility is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our group of six enjoyed a variety of dishes, and everyone praised the exceptional quality of the meals, from the appetizers to the main courses. All the tables were occupied, which speaks volumes about how good the food was. Everything about the operation feels first-class, and I highly recommend it. This place deserves a solid 5-star rating!

Good evening, after just leaving Bianca‘s after a fantastic lovely meal. The service was first class for the lovely SARAH and her friend, we had a fantastic evening, we had two starters to mains , very hot very well served very tasty all done in a professional level highly recommended this restaurant. Well done guys, I know you’ve been there a long time but now I know why. "From the off, everything was bang on point. The warmth of the welcome, being taken straight to our table and offered water and an aperitif promptly. We, a party of three, opted for the set lunch, which offers very good value for money. £29.50 for two courses, £35 for three, with two options for each course. Two of us opted for the baked Roscoff onion with pearl barley. Simple ingredients but beautifully cooked with a truly sublime brown onion sauce of such intensity, it lifted an already lovely plate of food to another level. The other person had the ponzu cured mackerel which she pronounced lovely but she had serious food envy over the onion dish. The main courses were grilled hake, which again was sauced to perfection and a grilled bavette with a vegetable medley and a pea? puree and a meat jus. We added a small dish of dauphinois at £5 which complimented everything very well. We drank a good and reasonably priced Rioja Blanco. No room for dessert sadly. This restaurant is not cheap but there is a difference between cost and value and The Elephant offers very good value with the set lunch; it allows you to sample really very good cooking at a price that will not break the bank. The normal a la carte menu is around double the price but on looking at what this offered, I would say that it again offers good value for money, being a step up in choice with more expensive ingredients. This is a serious restaurant. Go there. You will not be disappointed."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. We enjoyed breakfast here two days in a row, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the cafe has a great vibe. The bagels are a good size and very tasty. This place is definitely worth a visit."

"Great cafe with views over the harbour. Very dog friendly, ours loved his chicken! Staff extremely friendly and attentive. The cafe has a good ambience, with a mixture of traditional tables and lounge style seating. Have not tried the food but what we saw looked very good. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again next time we are in the area."

"Myself and my sister in law was on holiday with family and while they was off swimming we wanted to try some proper Devon afternoon tea, we found this amazing place in the most beautiful setting the lady that served us was so lovely even...though she didn’t actually work there she was a friend of the owner. She was lovely the food was amazing and the tea was perfect. We didn’t feel rushed at all and sat in the beautiful garden for a few hours. My only negative is that we don’t live closer to visit again. Well done to the owner you have created a beautiful setting. I would possibly advise that maybe to allow other to have the same experience you should send some leaflets to holiday villages as we found you on Google"

"Gorgeous tasty food, creative menu, mixture of traditional Spanish and world flavours, friendly staff, nice ambience. We booked in on strength of trip advisor reviews and so glad we did. Food was delicious. I like to order food that’s different or better than I could cook myself and this delivered. We had Asian beef skewers which were generous portions and super tender, slow cooked easily enough to share. Also pork belly bites with cracking crumble excellent and a big portion too. Brixham scallops and Spanish black pud was my favourite dish, smaller, but left me wanting more! Smoky Spanish corn cobs were our healthy option never had corn like it before and very tasty! Rather greedily we ordered a side of patatas bravas as an old favourite and the homemade aioli was just the best ever!! Probably should have had 1 less meat dish for 2 to share but it was all just so good. The egg box surprise was a lovely dessert experience we shared it as a mouthful of a sweet tasty dish to finish and I wouldn’t be able to make the egg shells myself. We had just driven 200 miles down to Torquay for the weekend but SWT is that good, I would drive that far again just for dinner here!"
