"My son's birthday was recently celebrated at The Falls of Feugh Restaurant, and it was truly wonderful. The food was fantastic, offering generous portions at affordable prices. I ordered the duck and it was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was ideal for our celebration, creating a cozy and welcoming environment. The service was excellent, ensuring that all ten of us were well looked after throughout the evening. "We spent two nights earlier this month at the hotel for a wee break and to visit old haunts in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff, we interacted with, were extremely friendly and helpful across all roles. Special mention to the young waiting staff and their enthusiastic approach to their roles and the future of the hotel as it continues to develop under new ownership. We wish them well in their further education and future career paths. Jenny, the new owner, is extremely commited to her staff and the hotels future developments. The bedroom and some areas looked a bit tired but we understand that refurbishments are being undertaken soon. We had dinner on our second evening and found the menu and food excellent. We highly recommend residents or non residents book one meal at least. We plan to revisit in the future and look forward to seeing the changes that are made by Jenny and her dedicated staff. Good luck to you all. Tom Julia. Rooms: Comfortable, clean, but dated. The old style window frame was showing signs of dampness . Nearby activities: Anywhere in Royal Deeside is worth visiting, beautiful area. The hotel is well located for this. Food drinks: Very good Breakfast/Dinner menu choices. Food was excellent. Noteworthy details: Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel about to have extensive refurbishments which will make it an even more worthwhile place to book and stay. Lift unfortunately was out of order but due for repair the day we left."

"We stopped for lunch here today . Been a few times before for coffee cakes . Unfortunately we were disappointed with today’s lunch . The outside seating area is made of wooden pallets very uncomfortable and they were dirty too., coffee stains etc.... The menu selection was very limited and when we did order the portions were tiny main courses served in 3 inch shallow bowls with salad on the side £12 per meal ! Coffee £3 each in small take away cups . The risotto option had no veg or any chicken or fish etc in it .. it was basically rice and strong lemons herbs . The side salad was varied . £30 for a very small lunch for two persons and two coffees . Unfortunately I do not recommend, there are so many other nice cafes restaurants in this area which offer better value and much superior food eg . ride coffee , birdhouse , Banchory lodge . Cakes are lovely and the customer service is good but we won’t be recommending or returning . If sitting outside then the use of proper cups would be better rather than take away ones ."
