Walked in and sat at table outside. Pleasant surroundings and it was easy to chat. What we liked Service was friendly, quick and efficient. Tea, coffee and cakes were tasty. What could have been better The toilet facilities

This restaurant is perfect for enjoying coffee, cake, a light lunch, or all three! The size of the place allows for a good chance of finding a seat, while still maintaining a cozy atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

During a recent visit to Culross, we decided to check out the Biscuit Cafe. We had a great experience enjoying coffee and cake, and the young staff members were efficient and friendly. The cafe was bustling with customers, a promising sign. It was the perfect place to fuel up before exploring the historical sights of Culross.

Stopped by for a pot of tea and dessert and had the best time service!! . Ordered a cookie and was quickly called out as Americans!! we’ve been schooled so yes, my friend ordered a biscuit and I ordered a Mars caramel fudge square. Yum yum. Best afternoon tea so far!!! And such a fun and adorable cafe…thank you for the laughs and education!!!

Well, what can we say very accommodating. 16 of us turned up after cycling from Alloa . We had our awayday cycle today (Callander Meander Group) .Our server who called himself Alex. I'm not sure about that, lol. Was so good that he had us all in stitches . Regarding the food, the Bacon Butty was outstanding coffee excellent will definitely visit again .

My wife went to get two takeaway coffee’s and a piece of cake at 2pm. Waitress was friendly and took order but the guy behind the counter was rude and exclaimed !” we are not making any more takeaways!”. He told the guy in front of my wife “he was okay and get his takeaway”. All the waitress could do was show open hands as if it was outwith her control. I will never ever visit this cafe again, shocking way to treat customers! If I had anything to do with the licensing of this premises, it would be revoked!

Horrible experience. Only stopped in for a cup of takeaway tea and to use the ladies. I was asked aggressively reading other reviews, seems to be the Manager) if I had wet hands?! I thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt that she was concerned over paper towels running out and being a bit clumsy asking. No- she was being flat out rude. When I responded that I didn’t see any paper towels in the bathroom she continued with the passive aggression and informed me they were right in front of me above the sink. Took my tea and left sharpish. I’m local and enjoy walking the coastal path. Won’t return here. Shame as it looked like a nice place for cakes and home cooked food.

I am a big fan of reading reviews on TripAdvisor before trying out new restaurants. However, I stumbled upon this place without any prior knowledge from TA. I sat down with my family of 5 and was surprised to see numerous negative comments about the service. I was so shocked that I almost got up to leave, but my wife convinced me to stay. To my surprise, the service we received was excellent. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who seated us at a table for 5. The food was top-notch and we had a great experience overall. Despite the rain outside, the staff seamlessly moved all the outdoor tables indoors. I give this place a big thumbs up and highly recommend dining here.

I think it might be a good assumption the favourable reviews here are by friends/family of the staff. Apart from one young girl (who was working her socks off the staff were rude, arrigant and downright ignorant. There is simply no excuse for people within hospitality to display such bad attitudes to paying, polite customers. One customer “can we sit outside?” Reply “no, we’re short staffed”. “How about you serve us inside and we take it out, and then bring the plates back as we leave?” “NO! YOU’RE NOT SITTING OUTSIDE!”.
