something expensive for what it is. I was very disappointed by the experience here; the food was okay / good the service was good, but I thought it was over price for what it was. I probably wouldn't go back because I'm going to mexico.

I can't put my finger on it, but it was all a bit meh, we were kind of disappointed. with the food, from us not ends our main thing. the personal is good enough, although we had to go to bar/kitchen for a few times to ask for more drinks and coffee. Speisekarte ansehen

my man and I had the most beautiful dinner in blue parrots on our last stay in edinburgh. modern cocktail and fabulous homemade mais tortillas and dip. amazing fish dish for me and my man enjoyed his chimichanga. a wonderful little cantina. thank you.

Have we lived in Europe for so long that our standards for Mexican food have dropped, or is Blue Parrot Cantina actually a good place to eat? I think it's the latter. The menu isn't extensive, but all the staples of a quality tex mex place are there: burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, and more. On our most recent visit we started with the black bean soup, which was well spiced and interesting. I continued with a vegetable chimichanga, which was every bit as good as I remember the chimichangas at our regular Mexican haunt from my stateside childhood. nothing standout. the blue parto cantina looks pretty cozy when you go down the stairs. in the inner it is really small and dark, but their eyes fit soon. the toilets, as their website makes a feature, are outside the main entrance so that they enter and get to them outside the restaurants./ we liked the feeling of the place. small and intimate it reminded us of a similar place in glasgow called bibi’s. I liked the blue papagei cantina as there were more things I liked than I didn't like. the service was fabtastic, the waitress full smile and really attentive. we had chilis and spicy bean soup filled as appetizers.
