"My parents came today for an afternoon tea which my sister I booked for their golden wedding anniversary. Elsie Mays went above and beyond to make this special for them. A suprise banner and chocolates were such a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The afternoon tea was gorgeous they said and, couldn't fit it all in so, they came away with a doggy bag! They said the breakfast and other food they saw all looked fantastic and they'll be back to try that!! The staff were all lovely and very accomodating. My parents had a lovely time here and will be definitely returning to this little gem of a place. Maybe with me and my sister in tow next time!! Well done Elsie Mays for there lovely afternoon."

"What an amazing meal had by all of 4 of us at this restaurant last night. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambience is perfect and the Staff couldn't do any more for us. It's like they're cooking for their own family. They are also very accommodating in any food requirements. Definitely will be returning. I recommend this restaurant 200%. "I wasn't sure what to expect from this place, but it turned out to be a proper old-style pub with a dark atmosphere and that familiar pub smell. The landlord greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. We all sat at a table and placed our drink orders, with a good selection available. We had pre-ordered food for our large party, with the chef impressing us with delicious dishes that were well worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Overall, the price per person was £100+ and both the food and service were rated a 5, while the atmosphere was a 3. Recommended dishes included the Tower Chicken Fillet Burger, Chocolate Lovers Trio Dessert, and the Full or Half Rack of BBQ Ribs served with chips, peas, and coleslaw."

"We frequent this restaurant so often that I couldn't decide which month to choose when writing this review. It has become our go-to spot for a breakfast treat with the kids, who love the pancakes, waffles, and smoothie bar. Personally, I rely on it as my hangover cure with a fry-up and milkshake. The restaurant offers local produce in a fun atmosphere with stylish decor and amazing staff. Additionally, they offer car valeting services while you wait. We have supported classic car charity events here and have also privately hired the restaurant for a steak night with a large group of friends. Richy and Lia, the owners, are highly respected local business people who give back to the community. We will continue to visit this diner as it is the best in town. xxxx."
