"We were stopping nearby and fancied a Sunday Lunch so pre booked for 3pm, what a disaster, one of the party is gluten free and had the gluten free nut roast option along with another person who ordered the nut roast but stated they didn 't need gluten free, when they came both meals had yorkshire puddings on and the waitress didn 't know which was supposed to be the gluten free one, she says she didn 't want to ask the chef because he was 'in a bad mood ' I have a gluten intolerance but someone who had a seriously allergy would not want to eat here !! the rest of the food was very average, cold carrots that were probably left over from the carvery and not even warmed up, frozen sweetcorn, and parsnips and roast potatoes that tasted like they were cooked in dripping even though three of our meals were vegetarian options. A couple of the waitresses were very apologetic and very nice, but overall very disappointing after looking forward to it."

"By far, the worst meal we've ever had! 8 adults and two children in our party, we opted for the banquet at £18+ pp. The starters were all deep fried and bland. There was a distinct taste of stale oil in everything. A long wait later, the mains arrived and the quality, presentation and taste were awful! The fried noodles dish resembled pot noodles that were deep fried and some good forsaken sauce and chicken thrown on top. The beef in black bean sauce was dreadful. Stale and underwhelming! The sweet and sour chicken tasted of stale frying oil, again. I won't go on to describe the rest of the meals but they were equally dreadful! The main reason for not complaining was that we had a great time as a family and I didn't want to spoil an evening of celebrating a birthday. Will we go again? Not 8n a million years!"

"Five of us dined here on the final night of our vacation, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional. We started with bruschetta and garlic bread, followed by pasta, pizza, and gnocchi for our main courses. The staff was friendly and welcoming, just what we were looking for. I had the gnocchi, which was the best I’ve ever tasted—absolutely delicious. My son ordered the bolognese and described it as fantastic. Overall, we thought it was a wonderful experience: great value, excellent food, and a friendly atmosphere."

"We’ve been going to the bull for a few years now, we own a caravan nearby. A couple of weeks ago a new manager took over and what a difference she’s made!! The pub is spotless, the welcome is warm from all the new team and the food is amazing!!! We had lunch with family last weekend and the food was home cooked, fresh and served with a smile Last night we went for drinks with a group of friends. There was a singer on, we had a brilliant night. In the short time the new manager has been there she has been like a breath of fresh air and has transformed the place. Nothing is too much trouble for her or her new team all done with a smile"
