This place is a must! We loved the quirky restaurant and the service was amazing. Probably worth a mention that the food was first rate; a nice simple menu with nice simple pricing. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful meal here this week, Abby was a great waitress and very attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic, highly recommend. We were sat in the 'poetry ' and 'politics ' section. Also catered really well to gluten free and vegetarian diets. Speisekarte ansehen

I wanted to give 5 stars but unfortunately Happy Cow would not allow. The Thai food at this restaurant has an authentic taste. The venue is fantastic and cosy, located in the center of Hastings old town. I even ended up buying a nice book while I was there.

Absolutely incredible food in an incredibly quirky setting. Food was fresh and service was quick. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I'm a fussy eater and don't like spicy food so loved that I could choose how hot I wanted my meal, from mild, medium, hot or Thai hot. Couldn't fault a thing!

Great food but disappointed with the size of the portions and the fact that you bring your own drink but you have to pay £2! for each one. That doesn’t make any sense! When we booked the table we were told it was £2 for uncorking. We assumed they referred to uncorking a bottle of wine… We brought two cans (one beer one cider) and we were charged £2 each! Thank you for a fantastic evening, it was a perfect end to our wedding day. We all loved the food, the presentation was lovely, it was authentic Thai food and just amazing flavours. The bookshop is romantic and cute. A great place to celebrate something special and a fantastic memory for all of us. We wanted somewhere quirky, with fantastic food and good service, this little gem of a restaurant definitely lived up to all of this. We even had our Colin the Caterpillar cake cutting photos done here too. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back

This restaurant is located inside a second-hand bookshop and has a friendly and slightly quirky atmosphere. The food is of very good quality, although the menu is not extensive. However, the dishes available are delicious and made with good quality ingredients and spices. The restaurant is knowledgeable about veganism, and most items on the menu can be made vegan upon request. You can choose the level of spiciness for your meal, and the spicy option is truly spicy. The set menu includes a starter and main course for around £13, and we highly recommend trying the hot and sour soup. This is a really lovely restaurant in the Old Town in Hastings. Anything on the menu can be adapted to be made with tofu or vegetables and the food is absolutely delicious. They also seem fairly clued up about allergies (we were specifically asked last time we went whether we had anything we couldn't eat). One thing to note however the little bowl of crackers they put on your table when you arrive are not vegan however if you ask for vegan crackers instead they will provide them (the sauce they serve the crackers with is to die for) While I have never seen anyone buying a book in there, the general ambiance of the place is cosy, with lots of little tables hidden behind shelves of books.
