Branksome Beach - Speisekarte

Awesome views. Attentive staff but appalling hot chocolate made with a packet and not milk. Coffee just average only. Clearly pay for the view and not quality of drinks.

We didn’t stay to eat because although the restaurant was fairly empty they didn’t have the staff to cater for any customers. It’s been like this for a year and I’m not quite sure why they pretend to be anything other than a cake and coffee/tea cafe.

A solid 2 star. Shown to a dirty table, given dirty plates and served average and rather expensive food. See attached picture, £17.95 for fish and chips. Branksome beach needs to focus on food and service and not take for granted the view and location. Speisekarte ansehen

We were kept waiting at the entrance for over 5 minutes before someone greeted us and showed us to our table. After ordering, we waited nearly 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The service was very poor, so I requested that the 12.5% service charge be removed due to the unsatisfactory experience we had.

Superb location and clean toilets, that’s about the only good points. coffee, cakes were ok Main meals Haddock and chips and Sea Food Mac and Cheese all I can say is expensive rubbish. For about £18 each I expect something good but ours were tiny, cold soggy fish and chips and basically a fish soup with pasta worst beach cafe from Sandbanks to Bournemouth go to any of the others for food!

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was absolutely blown away. The atmosphere was stunning, the food exceeded my expectations, and the service was top-notch. The prices were reasonable and the view was fabulous. I can't wait to come back again. We have already booked a table for an evening in December and I am really looking forward to it. We were walking and spotted this place and thought we’d have brunch. We were seated and shortly after our order was taken. Lovely service from the staff and our order arrived promptly. I ordered the kipper which was of a very good size and perfect. It does come on its own with a wedge of lemon. I ordered two poached eggs and two hash browns. This made it a perfect brunch with earl grey tea. My wife enjoyed smashed avocado bacon hash browns and bacon muffins. Too much for her so I finished it for her. Yum It hit the spot for sure. On a beautiful sunny day, we decided to have breakfast outdoors. Unfortunately, we were informed that the restaurant was short-staffed and had to go to a nearby shack to retrieve our food and bring it back to the cafe. Many other customers had to do the same, which was quite disappointing. This cafe used to be a picturesque spot to enjoy the view of the sea, but it seems things have changed. The heavy wooden chairs were difficult for older individuals to move, which was a downside. Overall, we were not satisfied with the experience and will not be returning.

Fitrstly, you can not book a table, so it's pot luck whether you'll be disappointed. We turned up, having looked at the menu on line. When we turned up for lunch at 1230 on Monday 12th Sep, there was a very poor and limited menu because they had only one chef. There was a choice of fish chips, a burger and steak frites. That was it. The fish was partly uncooked, the chips cold and not nice at all. The steak was OK but the chips were nothing special. The cost was ridiculous. From memory, the average price per serving was £17. Overall, we'll never go again, even though we are locals. Speisekarte ansehen
