"You don’t get much decent Caribbean restaurants around, especially coming from London. Upon stumbling on this establishment, I was positively surprised. There was a lack of space, but was somewhat cosy. The food was very nice up-marketing the standard Jamaican food. Starters tasted how they should, however there was a chicken bone that slipped into the spring rolls which is a big red flag and chef should check thoroughly for this before preparing the spring rolls. Jerk chicken had a slight kick which was good and presentation was top notch. I did feel the cocktails were way too overpriced. Decided to just stick to one for the whole night which was a shame. Needs a few tweaks to be a 5 star place."

"Great food, served the way mother served at home. Variety of meals and drinks and absolutely fabolous atmosfere incline me to coming back over annd over again. newly introduced salads are plentiful and delicious I do reccomend it to all, singles and families, also great place for small parties."

"visited paul’s oxford today as i own my own business, and i had over 50 online orders to complete and process so i knew it was going to be a long day and needed somewhere cosy, warm and full off coffee! started my day off with a delicious caramel latte one gentleman was so kind and very well mannered explaining the different drinks options available to me, in the moment i felt like more of a friend as opposed to a customer, and the other gentleman in the store delivered my coffee with some beautiful latte art! there was such a variety of different food options available and elegantly displayed and i was advised on which ones are both customer and staff favourites which was very helpful i went for the raspberry delice which was delicious!!! from the moment i entered the store i felt very warmly welcomed by the 3 staff members staff were very presentable and talkative and the overall ambiance of the store was calm, any queues that appeared throughout the day were dealt with swiftly and with the same diligence through each order/customer. will be recommending to family, friends, and my blooming businesses customers!"

"we ordered vegetarian and lammmaqloubah. the spice for both is good, the sauce (salty yogurt with gurke) especially refreshing. but the part is actually small for the price. my friend finds the vegetarian a tasty; for me, it's a little too dry. There are also only two pieces of aubergine and one slice of tomato in the lamb one, while the promised cauliflower cannot be seen. service is very good. suitable before the often, they can also see how their dishes were made, which is pleasant and entertaining. overall I like the ambiente, but the background music is too loud. you have to raise your voice that speaks to your companion. that means I want to visit the place again. the daily and flatbread on other tables all look very delicious."
