"I made a reservation for the top-rated restaurant near the festival hall as we were attending a show in the evening. I am thrilled that we chose this place - the food was delicious albeit a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality. I would love to come back again. The cheese soufflé was absolutely amazing, and I even tried the pistachio one for dessert! Both my husband and I agreed that all three courses were very tasty and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this place. We wish there was one in the Cambridge/Saffron Walden area so we could enjoy it at home!"

Great food, good service and good value. These positives deserve to be shown off in a nicer setting. The dining room is gloomy and quite dated now.

The food was nice, the ambience was nice, but the house staff left it a little down. They are paved around the bar towards the front of the dining area or up to the private dining room with a large Chit chat session!

We had a booking for the interval of the At. Matthew Passion at the Festival Hall. A lot of people eating in a limited time frame. We were sent a menu to pre-choose. It all worked perfectly. Food excellent and staff amazing.

A very pleasant Surprise. Read the positive and negative reviews and certainly we were extremely happy with the food and the service. Hint: You must book as it is so close to the National Theatre where we usually have a pre theatre meal. We will stick to this restaurant going forward

We really liked the Makrele Pate appetizer with Rhubarb Chutney. My husband had the cauliflower soup, which would have been better with some bread. My squid main course was delicious, but my husband's pork dish was a bit dry. My rhubarb fool could have used more rhubarb, but my partner's lemon pudding was tasty. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
