The customer service at this restaurant is exceptional. Thank you to the staff for taking care of a broken glass from the kids, it was promptly cleaned up. I give a 10/10 for both the food and service. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Not been here for over a year due it being closed from a storm . The refurbished building looks amazing modern and bright and to top that off the service and food matched . If you ever doubted this restaurant before you have to go and see the place . Thank you for a wonderful evening

Tom the chief was outstanding from start to finish explaining what food was brought absolutely amazing steak cooked to perfection. Well the team at this place are getting it right Great front desk/quick service/Great carvery and mega grill Carrots were rock hard and the guy behind the bar needs to tidy himself up as his shirt was not just dirty but disgusting All in all 8/10 the sunday chef 08/10/2023 deserves a rise imo Great Food well done and thankyou

Had an amazing lunch here with my other half, waiting staff was lovely lynn was amazing very friendly and always on the move, our hot food was amazing smothered chicken didn't have BBQ sauce but I don't like that anyway Kristen on the bar offered perfect drinks to go with the fish my partner had and my meal too will be back again

The restaurant appears to have undergone a nice renovation, but the meal I had was the worst I've ever had. The roast meat was full of fat, the vegetables were overcooked and mushy, the potatoes were undercooked and fell apart when I put them on my plate. The gravy resembled light brown water. The lasagne was disgusting, soggy, and lacked any taste, while the garlic bread was stale.

We've come here several times for breakfast as it is excellent value for myself and the children to eat as well as the soft play, which the kids love (as do I for some much needed peace! The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming and interested in the customers and making sure we have a good experience. This is always much appreciated. The only saving grace of this restaurant was the excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the food took over an hour to arrive and was cold and severely undercooked. Despite the restaurant being over half empty, many customers experienced the same problems, with missing components of their meals and desserts being served before their main dishes. The front of house staff tried their best, but it was clear that the kitchen was not up to par.

This is based on the Sunday carvery, only. I prebooked a vegetarian carvery online a week before my visit. I was aware carvery stops at 6pm, so booked for 5pm. On arrival, very friendly staff members attended to my vegetarian bookings and advised our pie would be brought to the table (as this is what was noted on the online menu). What arrived were a small fake chicken patty, with a small jug of gravy. I don't eat fake meat so passed to husband. I was really looking forward to the veggies, but they were all cold and dried out. The cauliflower cheese was tasty but tepid. The dauphinoise potatoes also tasty but tepid. The Yorkshire pud was burnt and hollow. No one was working at the carvery so...
