Brook House Inn - Speisekarte

I recently popped in for a pint and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the hotel's quiet atmosphere was a highlight.

The Brook House Inn offers a separate vegan menu, including desserts. They even accommodated us after their usual dining hours. We were extremely grateful for their flexibility and kindness.

This is a lovely Inn. We had lunch which was served promptly and very tasty it was. There were two cask ales on and local brewery ales. Been a few times before and will go again in yhe future. Service: 5 Location: 5

The restaurant staff is lovely and friendly, creating a nice warm atmosphere. The homemade soup and rolls were delicious. Service and location both get a perfect score of 5. The highlight of the hotel is its peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

Jumped on the steam train at Ravenglass to Eskdale and come in for some food. Ordered the csjun wrap, prawn sandwich on brown and the sausages off the children's menu. Every meal has been exceptional. Highly recommend for food. Staff are lovely and dog friendly to. Service: 5 Speisekarte ansehen

Visted during a recent trip on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. The pub is wonderful. Great service from friendly staff and wonderful lcoation. Despite seeming remote the bar had a vast range of drinks with plenty of ciders whisky to try I wish we'd had longer than an hour! Good tasty pub grub too. Service: 5 Location: 5

Food drinks: Stopped by here after getting caught in a rain shower up on the Hardknott Roman Fort. Being autumn, we were rather wet and cold, but had a warm and lovely welcome to the Brook House Inn. Our kids enjoyed their meals of steak pie and chips, and my husband appreciated the vegan options on the menu he ended up going for the mushroom ragu with almonds (I think? which really hit the spot. One of the best meals out we’ve had during our 3 week journey, definitely go if you’re in the area!

Compared to the typical pub menu in the Lake District, this restaurant offers a separate (short) menu of vegan options. There are fewer choices for starters and desserts unless one is a vegetarian. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, willing to veganize dishes like the garlauchbrot. Contrary to a previous negative review suggesting that the vegan dishes are microwaved, the meal I had, which included a delicious mushroom ragu with almond crumb, potatoes, and vegetables, was outstanding. If anyone knows where to find a similar dish in a supermarket, please let me know because it was excellent. Speisekarte ansehen
