we stumbled over the woolpack inn purely random, what a hidden gem, friendly staff and a great atmosphere, eating was great, I recommend trying a pizza, many thanks!

Great location, fantastic fresh baked pizzas. Small campsite adjoining the inn too. Outside toilets for camping not great, but indoor facilities when pub is open are ample. Staff very friendly. Covid friendly interior. Popular inn in a gorgeous location.

We had two wonderful nights in this stunning area. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, engaging us in conversation and providing excellent meals. They also offered a great selection of beer and gin, which are my two favorite drinks. Our room was lovely, with a fantastic view of the valley. Thank you for a great experience; we will definitely return!

We visit most years on our annual Lakes holiday, most recently yesterday and we were not disappointed. The food here is so lovely; the roasted cauliflower and red onion salad was delicious and the kids loved the pizzas. Our full party was accommodated without issue and made to feel very welcome, no mean feat under current circumstances. All credit to the friendly staff and brill chef, we’ll definitely be back again next year xx

This is an excellent pub with friendly staff and a fantastic selection of ales, ciders, and spirits (including a lovely local gin). We all had a meal, and I highly recommend this place to anyone nearby for the delicious local specialties and meats, as well as for a great spot to enjoy evening drinks. The food was outstanding. I suggest making a reservation, as it tends to be quite busy, which is no surprise. I absolutely loved it!
