excellent pub. a real pub. cask ales, real fire, dark wood, friendly reception, stone walls and the best beer garden in Scotland.

A really good, traditional village pub, more like you’d get in *whispers* England that the west of Scotland. Three real ales were on when I visited, with one finishing and another pulled right through. The beer garden looked incredible, but as it was a chilly March evening we opted to stay inside and enjoy the heat from the real fire. Children welcome in the bar till 20:00 which is very handy. Can’t wait to return.

Top-class, warm and friendly welcome from laura. easy to go and treat customers good atmosphere and ambiente a good old fashion pub with character. so glad I and the woman came in here after visiting rspb reserve. best pub food I had in my life. genuine fresh food, with texture and bursting with aromen today visited and at a reasonable price. every penny never evaluates anything like it has experienced the real deal this place. where was all my life steak pie best. and do not miss the fish nice eating 10/10 not to mention a beautiful coffee. compliments to the cook.
