"Tonight I booked a reservation through “the fork” (ou “la fourchette” en français and the offer was -40% off the “a la carte” menu. We had a average dinner (ok burger for 14€ and a glass of wine. When we finished our meals and tried to paid the waiter asked if we knew how our discount worked. I responded yes and should him the reservation. He rudely laughed and said it would be “to easy” like this and that we had to buy a combination of entree+plat or play+desert. I should him my phone and said that’s not what his screen says. We then continued a conversation in which I was insulted for my level of French, informed that in France “we only speak French” and it’s not my problem if there is a bad translation, and that menu=menu in French to English... In this conversation he informed me he didn’t care what I said or did that nothing would change because his screen was correct. He didn’t care about the respect of the consumer or the reputation of the restaurant. In this conversation I felt humiliated as if I was stupid and did understand something that I agreed to... I highly don’t recommend to giving your 15€ for a average burger that you could get on the premium menu of McDonald’s and have the chance to be disrespected as I was in my visit."

You can share a nice meal in this new place. A burger, a salad or a steak. You won't be disappointed.

The boss is nice as well as his team. But unfortunately their super chef must have left. And it feels. hamburger bread too cooked. There's no more bleeding chopped steak. I'm just trying to teach the cook how to do it. A year ago the burgers were top. It's really bad!

excellent burgers, very good house fries. The desserts are home too, different choice. if you reserve on the fork in addition you have a significant reduction, surely a safe place of guarantee or you can eat good quality burgers without paying too expensive P.s music very pleasant, suitable for the concept of the resto and its own atmosphere.

For a saturday evening family lunch, we decided to go for a burger. We found this good rated address, also listed as best of burgers in Lyon and have not been disappointed. The burgers are excellent, can be slightly customized on demand, which is very appreciated. The service speeds a little bit, but this was a good point with kids not being so patient in restaurant.

Ate here quite early on a Sat evening. We arrived just before 19h and kitchen not yet open but it was quiet and we had drinks first. It got busy later so either reserve or go early. Our daughter had the kids menu which was a burger no smaller then the adult one plus loads of chips, lemonade and ice cream for 9€. We had the 18€ menu which included a glass of wine, burger or steak plus chips and dessert. Service was good at start but slowed later we weren't in a rush but felt the dessert service was too slow. Waiters very pleasant. Would go back again. The whole area round Confluence is really great now lots of shops and the cinema plus it is nice near the water.

Burgers had a reasonable taste but for a place specialising in burgers they have a lot to learn.Very limited choice of burgers to start with.Buns poor quality. Fillings poor and little choice....The 'alleged" cheddar cheese was like nothing I've ever seen....looked like it had been sprayed on then melted....er NO, that's not the way to add cheese. Our chips looked like the end of a batch and were all the small ends - no proper full length chips.Salad on the side unevenly dressed.Overall it looks like little care taken in preparation or presentation. Come on guys, this is pretty basic stuff and hardly challenging so should be easy to get right.Wine list average and very few by the glass or car...

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
