"we visited knightshayes national trust house with two of our grandchildren, where there was a long waiting queue for a limited selection of vegan foods to midday, so we found cafe banana on happy cow and are so glad that we did. Although the caffe looked quite “rustic” from outside, the friendly owners produced a really tasty and interesting food, which made a special cheese and spinat toastie for our 4 year old granddaughter. our aubergine and cucumber stew was delicious, served with full grain rice, and there was a good choice of cake for dessert with good coffee. highly recommended."

Loved this little cafe situated in an equally lovely nursery. The staff were really helpful, the food was delicious with a great selection of vegan cakes. It was all very reasonably priced too. We will be back.

drilled to have found this lil schatz along a beautiful plant nursery. really refreshing choices for lunch, they feel fed. plus great options for the rest of my family and many cake choice. pretty a vegan caffe with veggie options.

Nestled in the luscious surrounds of Withleigh nursaries, you'll find the most peaceful and unique cafe. Cheap and cheerful food, very delicious and well presented. Will visit again and again. A must try for lunch if you're in the area!

Great cafe, good selection of sweet and savoury delicious vegan food. Friendly and welcoming. Great coffee, lovely outdoor seating area amidst the nursery plants. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we’re in Devon. Definitely worth a detour if you’re in the area. And pick up a couple of plants from the nursery as well.

Cafe Banana is in a small plant nursery near Tiverton. The food is veggie, and mainly vegan including a lovely selection of cakes. They offer a range of unusual teas as well as coffee, with a choice of plant milks. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is small but a nice space, with loads of plants from the nursery which are also for sale. Much recommended if you are in the area.

Second visit here for coffee and cake. 5 choices of cake, I had lemon sponge and my wife had carrot cake and enjoyed it so much bought another piece for later. Cafe also does lunch snacks all vegan. Owners are lovely. Only 7 outdoor tables but they put a heater on for us which was great on a chilly day. Prices very good. Cafe is part of a garden nursery which has a small range but has some rarely seen plants and shrubs.

Cafe Banana provides delicious food at affordable prices. And the coffee is great with plenty of different options. Everything on the menu can be vegan and there is almost always a healthy option, plus naughty but very nice cakes! Melissa and Terry are really friendly too. It's a great place to escape and after you've enjoyed the cafe you can have a look in the garden centre where there is a large range of plants, herbs etc.
