Cafe des Arts - Speisekarte

Our cafè crèmes were quite good here. (Better than most during our trip) And the location is nice on sunny days. Our service was friendly.

La cuisine qui se veut basique est vraiment sans plus, la patronne n'est pas aimable du tout. différnece de traitement entre les locaux et les touristes flagrante .....

Un pt'it coin tranquille et convivial et où l'on mange bien, un service un peu lent , mais dans l'ensemble Fabrice et sa consoeur sont super sympa, dommage que le patron ai ses têtes ... Speisekarte ansehen

We had an enjoyable meal in this restaurant. What impressed us most was that we were served even although we arrived late in the evening. The food was fairly basic, but the service was very friendly. We would definitely return again.

Fantastic place, day or night, whether morning espresso or afternoon beer. Service with a smile from Fabrice. Wonderful outdoor seating on the street. Table oysters fresh from the market, a quirky (!) Unisex toilet and a liberal view when it comes to settling the bill. Awesome place.

Déjà venus il y a 4 ans, nous sommes ravi de ce rendez vous...Accueil très chaleureux, nourriture extra et ambiance du tonnerre...Addition plus que raisonnable qui plus est !!!Tout est bon, même si nous ne pouvons goûter à tout, mais vu les mines ravies des clients (locaux), nous ne pouvons pas en douter.A bientôt car nous reviendrons.Cordialement à toute l'équipe. nous avons mangé ce wk au café des arts avec une petite appréhension mais nous avons été tous satisfaits, il n'y a pas de menu sauf pour les petits le menu à 6.80 mais très copieux! pour les adultes choix à la carte mais les assiettes sont bien garnies, la cuisson des plats excellentes pour tous! seiche et gambas délicieux, le camembert bourratif mais bon!dans l'ensemble très bon rapport qualité prix

We stopped on the way back from St Chinian Sunday market desperate for a coffee and cold drinks for the kids. We sat outside surrounded by locals and a great atmosphere. After our drinks we decided to stay for lunch as it was so relaxed. Moules et frites for the kids and oysters and salads for the adults (although the kids pinched a few oysters!). Food was fast, fresh and reasonably priced - couldn't ask for more!!!

The place was packed with a cacophony of conversation bouncing off the ceiling. While locals sat at the bar drinking, all the diners were served with super-efficiency by one waiter. First course of air-dried ham on a brioche bun with, bizarrely, a squirt of crème Chantilly on top was delicious, even though the Chantilly was slightly sweet, but it worked. (In France, unless you can find unpasteurised double cream, Chantilly can only be whipped up with the addition of a sachet of powder called Chantifix.) Main course, perfectly cooked salmon en papillotte with rice and roasted cherry tomatoes. Everyone else had an O.T.T. café gourmand, which they loved, and I went off piste with a "Tiramisu"....
