"We wanted to find some place for a dinner after the visit in Chambord palace. It was already bit late (after and many places were already closed. So thanks to TripAdvisor I found this place and my friends agreed. We were hungry and in...a bit of a hurry as we were heading to another place in France for camp. But we like good food so anything for eat wasn't also an option The place from the beginning become a friendly place where the host greets you personally and invites for a stay. But regarding the food, most of us took an option of full service for and the rest a kid menu or pizza. For eur you get an option all you can eat with starter what means good cheese etc, and then the main course to choose from meet to pasta etc. and of course big range of dessert. In one word: delicious!!! Friend were very happy and every one enjoyed the stay and the food of course. And at the end we got also some discount (don't know why, aspecially that in places like this in France I am expecting more the additional service costs or sth). So anyway very good food as much as you can eat for reasonable price for that region. So I can fully recommend this place. And congrats to the owners!!! Just keep this standard pls"

it was really busy and they were short staffed, but even so the food was awesome, plat du jour was cous cous, loads of cheeses and really nice desserts. The portions were huge, the price was right and even though they were rushing, they did...a superb job... bravo!

Stopped off on cycling tour of Loire for lunch. Bistro in charming French Square next to traditional medieval church served us delicious food and drinks for a couple of perfect hours. Place was packed on a Friday lunchtime we got there just as it...opened at with locals

All you can eat lunch buffet. Absolute bargain compared to the average prices for lunch around the area. Easy to see why there were mostly French workers eating there when we visited. Excellent for filling up. You should only need a light supper after a...few hours here.

We visited here on our one night stop in the area . What a lovely change to many of the places we had eaten on our tour. Very welcoming greeting from the staff, an opportunity for me to speak French without being judged. Food good...quality buffet with lots of choice for everyone at a good price. Many thanks for a good evening.

Not amazing but simple spot to have lunch. It was memorable because the town was celebrating the liberation of France. People were dressed up and there was a band and chorus. They later came into the restaurant and started impromptu singing. The food was fine....Not great but not bad. A lot to choose from. Desserts were better than the savory.

We arrived for lunch having visited the nearby Chateau de Chambord. Other places were either closed or just too pricey. The food here was great and lots of it in an open buffet. Perfect for people with kids not looking for haute cuisine. I had...the beef in red wine sauce which was delicious. The food is local fare and meaty (no seafood) and really tasty with cold meats, cheeses, pizza and ice cream on offer. The kids were happy (a big ask) so we were too. Highly recommended place in a nice location off the town square. Service was friendly too. We sat inside with the a/c on a steamy day in summer.

Seven of us arrived without a booking on a Monday about and we were welcomed. However, it was a public holiday so they might not have accepted us at that time if it was a normal weekday. We had the buffet and wine, costing...us about each. There were so many choices choices of meat dishes for main course alone! Entree, cheese, main course and sweets: if you were vegetarian there were vegetarian dishes but most of it was very meat focussed. Staff were friendly and gracious, even offering to take a photo of us during a very busy time. It was not cold but there were braziers which would make it cosy and warm if it was.

We didn't book but were seated inside.. Appreciated the a/c! The staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English. The meal was brilliant value, which made a great change as we have found eating out in France very pricey. There was something for everyone, even...the fussy kids! We chose the buffet whu h included cold meats, cheeses and salads, pizza and cooked meats, chips and vegetables, an assortment of deserts and then ice cream! The children couldn't believe they could have as much as they wanted. And then the evening just got better... The singer performing on the front terrace started offering karaoke, there was dancing in the street with the locals, and we received free champagne...

Went there one evening because everything else was closed. I was prepared to endure after having read some of the reviews, but the culinary torments exceeded my wildest expectations. Staff is on the ok side, nothing to complain, but the food is atrocious. There may...be some cooked meat to choose from, but pizzas are made from leftovers, found a piece of beef steak and sausage (or chicken in a pizza that was supposed to be salami, yuck. Starters buffet was pasta salad and rice salad with a puddle of water at the bottom of the bowl, plus some veggies and some things I cannot remember now because my brain is probably trying to protect me by erasing bad memories. Dessert buffet was a little bet...

"very friendly reception of the boss, very chatty but in a pleasant way. Slate formula at 17 euros for local and fresh products, all being beautifully presented in beautiful plates each time. We had 3 fungus-based mignardises to start while we had not ordered an aperitif. A delicate attention...Today we have tasted "the chef's terrine", a delicious homemade paste served with a delicious green salad with some pieces of tomatoes, radishes, pickles as well as the chaplain garnished with goat and small vegetables, impeccable too! In main dish, a trout net served with seasonal vegetables (carrots, gourmet peas, zucchinis returned to olive oil) and rice, nothing to say, delicious. A turkey net with the same filling, the only flat being a really small portion of fish...A cute, very tender, perfect cooking, served with really acidic plums to be eaten, but with a delicious sauce! In dessert, we all took the mellow with apricots, a pure happiness, a cake as at home, traditional, mellow, with apricots and above the house caramel, eat without hunger! The toilets are very clean and the cherry on the cake, they are small individual towels to wipe hands, little attention that has delighted me!Bref, outside of the dagger net really too small and the acidity of cherries, that of happiness!Tour in the sologne, it is a village without animation. proof that the ear or internet mouth can make known little jewelry!"
