"We had a lovely meal. It is a large restaurant, tastefully decorated with red velvet seating and curtains. The menus in English are on iPads are very easy to use. The staff were efficient and friendly. There was an excellent children's menu of steak and chips, a drink and dessert for 9 euros. There was also a great value set menu for 20 euros. The cod dish was exceptional. All the mains we had were well cooked. The only disappointment was the apple tart, which was on a thin biscuit base (not pastry). The coffee was excellent and came with a delicious sesame chocolate waffer. Overall we were very happy with our meal which was great value."

Nice place, good food. Service was slow and they forgot our drinks. Nevertheless à place I recommend for a lunch or dinner in Bordeaux. Prices are good .

Wonderful service, very attentive to our doubts with dishes. The restaurant truly transposes us to a different time in History. Definitely a restaurant to come again in my next visit to Bordeaux.

Waiting for the train, we went to the terrace since it was a sunny day. I tasted the Oysters, Choucroute garnie and Paris Brest. The Choucroute was well done. The Paris Brest really a piece of art! Good service.

It was good years ago, but now is bad. We ordered the crayfish and sea snail.... Both not fresh. While we respond it to the waitress, the manager / supervisor just said this is how the french eat it... Well... Rubbish then. Not recommend at all Speisekarte ansehen

We wanted to have a French experience and we were not disappointed. The meal, the decor and the staff ticked all the boxes. We recommend to anyone who is missing the classic French brasserie experience. Recommending the herrings were and the choucroute.

A decent although not outstanding brasserie, one of the good options in the area. The restaurant itself is beautiful and serves typical French dishes. An advantage they have is they are open non stop and until late!Very handy also for a coffee while waiting for a train as they have a big and nice terrasse.

Nice old world feel to the inside. Staff helpful & friendly but are now using tablets for English customers, some of translations not very helpful & found if easier using regular French paper menu! Chips with the steak were over cooked and resembled potato peelings ? Deserts nice. Whole menu a little over priced. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped at this lovely restaurant on our way from Paris to Carcassonne by train and were fortunate to have an hour and a half between connections. We had pre booked our table and were not disappointed with our choice. The decor was in a nostalgic style, the staff attentive and the choice of food that we made was perfect. We would recommend a visit.

We enjoyed a good average meal on two occasions in this restaurant opposite the railway station. We ate there because our hotel was close by, and we would not have gone out of our way by travelling any distance to it. Th food was tasty and the service very good. We noticed that the number of diners was rather low compared to the restaurant next door. They have English and other language menus on an iPad which is helpful.
