"Booked for a pre theatre dinner. Husband disabled and the staff took great care to position us downstairs and pointed out the disabled toilet. Service was attentive and just the right pace. Food was fine, good presentation, not badly priced for theatreland. Fish and chips is recommended as a main, the fish was cooked perfectly, lovely and moist with a light batter. Lovely decor, would have loved to have sat upstairs with a scenic view but husband is unable to manage stairs. Downstairs did begin to get noisy towards the end of the meal, people who came for just the bar had no volume control."

Had the beef Bourguignon, a glass of Pinot Noir, the cream Brûlée, and the above pineapple cake. Amazing food and great atmosphere! Recommend beef and desserts!

Cafe Monico is conveniently located near the Gielgud Theatre and offers a great value Prix Fixe menu in London. I would definitely dine here again next time I'm in Shaftesbury Avenue.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic. We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable for the location. The staff was also very courteous and pleasant.

This restaurant on Shaftesbury Avenue is a hidden gem. The decor is wonderful, yet not overly fancy. The prices are quite reasonable and the food is delicious. It's a refreshing change from the typical touristy restaurants in the area.

I absolutely adored our server Herena, who was kind and charming. This dining experience surpassed my previous one at Sexy Fish. The food was delicious, with perfectly cooked pasta and a refreshing variety on the menu. Despite not having a reservation and needing to leave for a show, the service was exceptional. This restaurant is definitely worth the money and journey.

As ever, Cafe Monico was excellent the food, service and value for money. It was a bizarre situation as my friend and I visited just before the Government imposed the various coronavirus restrictions and I think we were the only customers. It was extremely quiet. I hope for the sake of Cafe Monico and all the staff normality returns soon I will certainly be heading back as soon as I can!

I loved it here. This place is right up my tight!! From decor to atmosphere to cocktails to glasses! Love love. You have a second floor in the upper floor, which looks a bit more imagination and looks down over the bar that is centered in the middle of the room. I love the layout. It's romantic. Only criticism was that they literally pushed into every ladies' room if they clearly don't fit. It meant that you could barely close the door and was very strange.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Upon arrival, we were initially seated upstairs but requested to be moved downstairs due to mobility impairments. This request was accommodated without any hassle. The service was efficient and the staff were polite. My mother ordered an omelette from the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it, finishing every bite. I opted for the lemon sole with a side of beans, as the fish did not come with any accompaniments. Both dishes were incredibly tasty.
