"Although the waiter was very good , we were not impressed with the time there . We were using a virgin experience a three course meal and drink. I gave the voucher to the waiter as soon as he seated us, but the manager I believe was very sharp with me over using the voucher and the fact that he couldn't find it, and that I hadn't booked it correctly, well they had our booking so if something went wrong it wasn't what we had done. The waiter asked what we wanted to drink whilst the manager tried to sort out what menu we should have, we were given our drinks a lemonade and lime and a glass of wine. We eventually were given a menu and ordered our food which was all fine we ordered some bread as an extra. When we come to ask for the bill for which we should only have had to pay for the wine, lemonade and bread which came to £9.65 in total but were presented with a bill for £18.53 and was told this was the balance owing . After being made to feel the way we did I wasn't in the mood to argue , this should not happen I accept we needed to pay for our extra drinks etc but the voucher should have covered our meal, we weren't given the normal menu it was a set one so maybe someone could tell me why we had to pay the extra. I would not recommend to anyone"

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch, and their seasonal lunch menu offering 2 courses for £11 is a great deal. The food is deliciously cooked and beautifully presented. It's a top choice for Saturday lunch outings.

The waiter was friendly, but it would have been nice if he had a clean apron. The table was sticky and the food was just okay. The chips seemed like they had been sitting out for a while and were not hot. Overall, it wasn't bad.

As always, the food and drink on offer were very good. The menu is never exciting but it provides great standard French dishes at a very good price. The waiter was incredibly attentive as always but a little intense as well. Overall, a good meal.

I used Tesco vouchers on the main à la carte menu for the duck and chicken dishes. The food was cooked very well and arrived hot at the table. The accompanying sauces were very good. The desserts were excellent, although slightly pricey. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The only downside was that we were seated near the in-house speakers, and the music was a little loud.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, however, our visit was marred by a lackluster welcome and slow service. Despite making a reservation online and arriving punctually, we were left standing at the entrance with no greeting or acknowledgement from the staff. Although we had requested a specific seating area, it took a while for us to be seated there, and the service was slow due to a lack of staff. Our appetizers took a considerable amount of time to arrive, and our main dishes took over an hour. While we did enjoy the food, the overall experience was not very pleasant.
