Cafe Venetian - Speisekarte

Worst experience ever. Waited 45 minutes for a piece of toast when it eventually came it had egg mayo on the side of! Not good when u have an egg allergy. Staff didn’t have a clue what they was doing and the man behind the counter was very rude!

This place is terrible. Today we ordered a sausage bap and egg on toast. One female member of staff was ranting about another swearing openly in the middle of the cafe! There was no customer service, they just shouted when our drinks were ready.

The best Cafe ever. The manger Sally is a lovely lady who had a smile on her face and gave the best customer service ever. I would really recommend this place for a breakfast. Full English breakfast was perfect, and the coffee was made to prefection. I will definitely be returning Speisekarte ansehen

Popped in here with my mother while on a shopping trip. Had read the negative reviews previously but found ourselves outside and decided to give it a try anyway. I honestly cannot fault our dining experience. Tables were clean, food was fresh and excellent quality (I had egg and chips, Mum had fish and chips). Service was prompt and friendly. Excellent value, will definitely eat here again.

We visited on Sunday 26th May for a late breakfast. On being served at the counter one of the staff was moaning about the colleague serving us. We took our seats to then be asked to re-order 10 minutes later as our food order was lost. This then led to more moaning and squabbling between all 3 staff members that all in the café could here. Following this on loading the drinks fridge there was more moaning and swearing in front of customers as the bottles kept falling over.

We had lunch here while on shopping trip today. Wish I had looked at hygiene rating first as probably would not go in for a 3 rating. I have to say the food was lovely. Hot and tasted lovely. However after we had ordered food a young man came to clear& clean table. Oh my word was mortified when he used his hand and then wiped said hand in apron.We watched as he did it to another table later. We got serviettes and wiped again but if we had seen this first before paying for meal would have left. Shame as the food good. Speisekarte ansehen

This place has been going downhill for ages since it changed management. Went for a coffee with my husband and my dad who is in a wheelchair due to a stroke. Staff are usually surly and unhelpful but this one took the biscuit. My dad sneezed and I heard the woman behind the counter say, keep your germs to yourself. My dad sneezed again and blew his nose. When we left she treated us like we had bubonic plague! She was rude, unprofessional and more concerned with being nosey with other people's conversations. I am definitely not going back, there are far nicer coffee shops in Cwmbran

Definitely NEVER going to this place again. The man who served us (I think the owner? was abrupt in taking our order, to the point of impatience. Then we were asked to take a seat and told he'd bring it over to us, so we chose the mezzanine area (an raised area ajoining the hot drink preparation area . We had to use a wet wipe to clean our table (we would have walked out at this point, but we'd already paid for our drinks . Then, when our order was called, instead of being served at our table, our hot coffee was lifted on a tray, over a high wall that separated the kitchen area EXTREMELY dangerous as I'd ordered a latte, which came in a tall glass... It is pure luck that the drink didn't top...

We decided to try this cafe after walking passed it a billion and one times on shopping trips to Cwmbran. At first glance it seems lovely but like Royston Vasey, you pick under the layer and find something quite odd. The guy who works at the counter speaks to you like you are interrupting him from something more important. The staff look like they hate life. The miserable lady who serves can’t be bothered to walk to the tables but is happy to meet you halfway and I had to clean my own table! Also the kitchen is very small and yet the staff still manage to shout at each other rather than communicate like normal people. Food is a little under average but on a positive note, you get what you as... Speisekarte ansehen
