To me Cafe Yolk is like a family. I love the cappuccino which is my wake up call. I love the owners and the staff is always super sweet and friendly and courteous. I recommend it 200%!

I was eager to try a nice menu featuring scrambled tofu, but I couldn't resist the vegan berry pancakes instead. The café has a stylish atmosphere with a spacious seating area under a glass veranda and additional pavilions. We will definitely return to sample the tofu breakfast soon!

there are not many good places in front of 10 open to breakfast, but this is one of them! her vegan complete breakfast is very nice, although tofu scramble is not included by default to ask it. additionally they have vegetarian sausage available to breakfast, but not vegan something that could be easily changed! Other options are avocado or tofu scramble on toast, as well as a delicious berry parfait. Cafe Yolk is my favorite brunch spot in Reading. They offer a great selection of vegan options, including fluffy pancakes, tacos, scrambled tofu on toast, and the classic "The Vegan" breakfast. I enjoy "The Vegan" dish, which comes with two vegan sausages, scrambled tofu, and the herby potatoes that are served with the tofu toast—they're simply amazing! Their smoothies can easily be made vegan by substituting yogurt with coconut milk. I recently tried the mango and pineapple smoothie, and it was delicious. They also have two vegan milkshakes available. The coffee is consistently great, and they provide a variety of milk alternatives. My only wish is for a vegan caramel sauce to go with banan...

A small breakfast/brunch joint located at a walking distance from the university, this place is popular among both students and residents in the area. The menu has a pretty good variety with omelettes, toasties, and burgers. They also do a full english breakfast. They also offer waffles and pancakes. For drinks, they have a variety of milkshake flavors (Chocolate, Snickers and Oreo to name a few) as well as coffee. Amazing food and a great atmosphere!!. This is by far the best Café in Reading and probably one of, if not the best Café I've been too anywhere! Café YOLK offers an amazing breakfast and lunch menu with a few culinary firsts for Reading (i.e Pancakes with Streaky Bacon!! . The speciality coffees on offer are by far the best in Reading, there is no where better to go for your Caffeine fix! The staff and owners are extremely polite and friendly and the whole Café has a great atmosphere, even the clientèle that the Café attracts adds to the overall feel and friendliness.
