Despite the closure for this pandemic you can order a takeaway coffee. Nice owner. Great coffee. Even the local finally entered, during the pandemic was forbidden) is wide,ordered. Wide choice of sweet and salty. Toilets neat and clean. Ideal for a break. Recommended

During the school term, I stop here once a week for a morning cappuccino, on my way to a teaching job and the LOVELY waitresses always remember my order without me needing to ask and are super nice even though my Italian is terrible! Visiting Asti with friends, we stopped at this place near C.so Alfieri for a short stop. We were captured by the environment full of vintage suggestions and not only by the environment, but also by food. Simple choices, mainly vegetarian, and good value for money. Fast service and kindness towards customers.

The Cafélait is one of those places where you instantly know that they got it right, not one single detail is out of place. Whether you pop in for a quick coffee, a lazy breakfast or an exquisite lunch, you will never cease to be amazed by the attention to detail, the quality of the food and drinks and the superb service. Very few places I have ever come across reach these high standards.
