The setting and view is lovely, especially for sunset. The food is excellent and they even pre-split shared dishes for our convenience. Super kind staff. Would recommend.

The location is beautiful for an evening dinner. The food is good but the service stinks. The 'owner/man in charge ' is doing a lousy job. Even when he is suppose to take your order, he is talking to somebody else. It happened many times. He should not have customer contact.

The Caffe Porto Vecchio is a great place for lunch and their outside seating area offers lovely views over the old port, the lake and the local street life. Pastas are good, so are their seafood dishes. Prices are about average for Malcesine. Service is friendly, the value for money is good. A recommendable place.

The restaurant has magnificent views. The food is quite good, but the house's tiramizu was a bit too rich. The restaurant really deserves 4 stars, but it has to wait until the service is improved. The manager or headwaiter ? Is completely unconcentrated he forgets orders and interrupts in the middle of conversation with the guests to shout at the young employees who are not allowed to receive orders or settle bills. Not a good system.

The location is amazing front lake view but the food is terrible. My pasta was served cold I suspect it was reheated and not freshly cooked. The bruschetta was industrial bread from the supermarket and not even warm again. The dried seasoning on top of both the bruschetta and the pasta was dry as hell and tasteless. The waiter was aggressive when he saw I didn’t finish my plate and said that it was bad. I didn’t argue but really not worth the 26€ I paid. Don’t go there.

we went to eat at this restaurant. very busy on a splendid square. we were placed in a corner of the terrace. I ordered an erdinger beer like on the menu but was given another beer. I asked to have the one i had ordered the one that was on the card but I was told that it was that one and not another. Following this we were completely left out voluntarily following the problem of beer. we waited more than 30min then we decided to leave and that's when the staff tried to hold us back because all the customers on the terrace were spectators of the scene.
