"A friendly welcome, very patient with my poor Italian, an English menu then arrived to save the day. Very fresh bread straight to our table, followed by the wine, in an ice bucket. My girlfriend and I shared the mixed seafood starter, really fresh, prawns, smoked salmon, seafood salad (see photo) the perfect starter. I then had the freshest spaghetti, with prawn,muscle and vongole in a beautiful olive oil broth, my other half going for the gnocchi with courgette and prawns. Both light, fresh and delicious. The lunch I dream of in England, and all for €47 with a bottle of frizzante. Really unpretentious, home made delicious dishes, in a cosy environment where you are made to feel welcome. Highly recommend."

"Invitata a pranzo per festeggiare un compleanno mi sono trovata in questo locale piuttosto rinomato. Anzi, meglio, segnalato sulla Guida Michelin.Per questo motivo le aspettative erano alte.Antipasti veramente molto buoni, nettamente sopra la media e dalle porzioni generose.Purtroppo i primi non sono stati all'altezza: tutti leggermente insipidi, anche il piatto forte, i tacconelli di Filippo, sono stati alquanto deludenti.I secondi ben cucinati ma privi di qualsiasi inventiva.Fa anche un pò strano in un ristorante così rinomato, trovare la banale frittura.Il servizio è stato gentile ma non attento.Insomma, non più di tre palle."

"All that is light is not gold. I had dinner at la piazzetta and I must say that even if the prices are satisfactory (you pay little, you get less) the dish is not as satisfying, I took a fresh seafood appetizer which I can rate as average, a 7 like the its own cost. I can 't say the same about the stuffed calamari, (ordered as a second course, so you expect a second course) I was served three, some will say: three and you 're complaining?????? Of course I 'm complaining!!!!!!! It must have been 100/120 grams of portion, among other things I believe (obviously I 'm not sure, too small to evaluate them) that they were not squid but rather squid, cooked without any flavour. I thought about getting some mussels too but obviously I gave up."

"Back again; the last review was a little time ago, though. I am motivated to add this review as the restaurant has changed its menu. I don't like going back to places and finding that over a year, there is zero change surprisingly, there are quite a few such restaurants about. On this occasion, I enjoyed an orate (bream) in potato. Interested, as this was the first time I'd tried it, or indeed seen it. My wife had the orate in finely chopped pistaccios (which has featured on the menu for a little time). Both were lovely pieces of fish, and served with oven potatoes not roasted, but cooked more quickly, after being thinly sliced. The pastas are always excellent here; try the large pasta (I don't recall whether it is pacceri or another very big pasta) with lobster even the memory makes me hungry for that. The only down side is that the waiting staff seem a little distracted, and it can be a job to get their attention. But when they are focused, then it is knowledgeable and helpful service. Lunch for two, with a decent bottle of wine, came to about 80 Euros."

"Wow! I found this restaurant watching a video on youtube. the history of this restaurant is unique and was told by the owner, very kind and helpful person. me and my girlfriend ate a recommended appetizer: some delicious stuffed mussels. then we took a typical Abruzzo brodetto. arrived a really plentiful dish (I put a photo,) full of fresh fish and we seemed to taste a piece of history of the Abruzzo sea. the spaces of the room, with background music to accompany, are well maintained and overlooking the sea. we had a great time and definitely recommend it. We'll be back!"
