"On an extended stay in Grosseto, Southern Tuscany, this place was recommended as a great to get a glass of wine and a snack prior to dinner. This was exactly the case! The hosts, Ayoub and his offsider (the boss) not only welcomed us with enthusiasm each time we came in but also recommended different wines as my mate and I were keen to try as many good Italian wines as possible. We were not let down in this endeavour as our host really looked after us with their selections. A generous supply of snacks of ham, cheese and pickled vegetables was always on hand and they were delicious as well. A would recommend this place for drinks and light meals anytime."

Cibo di livello e cucinato benissimo per il bere non ci sono rivali . Peccato che al banco ci siano due pezzi di manzo , preferivo della selvaggina .

Caratteristico locale situato in Piazza del Sale a Grosseto. Cucina e cibi di alta qualità, numerosi marche di vini e liquori . Buon servizio e cortesia anche se i prezzi sono un po’ alti ma ne vale la pena . Preferibile prenotare.

Located in the historical centre of Grosseto inside the wall of the old medicean fortress. Some tables outside in old little square once upon a time used to store salt (piazza del sale). Excellent simple menu for a bite and great wine collection form Tuscany but not only. Speisekarte ansehen

We were here 2 times and we drunk 2 glasses of wine , the first time a glass of red wine and the second time a glass of white wine.they served the typicall tuscany wine togheter with snacks , it was simply amazing.the place is very nice , in the center of the city.the staff is really polite and helpfull. La Cantina di Piazza del Sale è davvero un posto carino e accogliente. C'è la possibilità di bere vini al calice tra una vasta scelta, oppure prendere una bottiglia. Ma oltre ai vini è possibile degustare vari piatti veramente buoni, ho provato la pappa al pomodoro.. deliziosa!Ma anche i crostoni e gli sformati che variano di volta in volta non sono da meno!Insomma, lo consiglio!Andateci e non ve ne pentirete!Il sabato consiglio di prenotare perchè è piuttosto affollato.
