"We decided to try based on tripadvisor reviews. While it was a lovely setting, peaceful restaurant with lovely views over the marina, we felt it was very expensive for what it was. We went with two small children....possibly our mistake......but we have been to...other high end restaurants that have made us feel much more relaxed about having our children there. Although the staff weren't unfriendly, there was a definite feeling from both the staff and other diners that our children were spoiling their experience, although they were infact pretty well behaved. The restaurant had a nice feel to it, and possibly some of the dishes would have been very nice. The food was certainly well presented, but it was so expensive! We felt that some restaurants on this particular area of the coast do not try so hard to make their food tasty because they have an audience that buys into the prestige and oppulence of the French Riviera and seem to be happy to pay very high prices for nice, but not outstanding food. I had fillet steak, which was cooked nicely and tasty enough, well presented, but not as delicious as I would've expected for euros. I know it's all cordon bleu and posh presentation, but when we're talking chips, I just found it quite funny that my portion was literally or chips balanced on top of one another. I don't mind posh cuisine and tasty little morsels, but chips are chips and arranging them into a little criss cross design doesn't make up for the fact that there are only of them! My hubby had cod because it was a cheaper option, but when I tried it it was pretty tasteless. Again, nicely presented on the place, but really lacking in flavour. He was pretty disappointed. The desert was very nice, but again, very expensive. We felt a bit robbed and think it's a shame when places take advantage of their audience being influenced by the general rule expensive good and decide to put less effort in because they know lots of people will believe something is good if they're told that is the case and if the price reflects it. I'm not saying the restaurant was poor or that they hadn't put effort into the presentation or service, but just that the tastiness of the food did not reflect the very high price of it. But I don't think this is just this restaurant, but is actually the case with lots of places in this area as it is an expensive area and there are always going to be people who are happy to pay those prices for that food. Personally, we'd rather drive further to somewhere like Aix-en-Provence and go to one of the little restaurants there which are cheaper, but also tastier because they have to put in more effort to get people in."

Excellent service: We arrived at the harbour very late and despite this they accepted to serve our group. We had excellent Gaspacho, fantastic Sea bass and great dessert. Excellent wine too.

We choose based on Tripadvisor reviews. The place has a beautiful view on the port if you can be seated on the terrace. The service was just perfect and the food excellent. BUT I have to say that that sea bass was just amazing,...cooked perfectly!

We have been eating at the Cap for many years but can't bring myself to give it a better rating. The food is good, but not excellent and expensive. The service is efficient but not welcoming. The view over the port is terrific.. Out...of season it is poorly patronised. making the atmosphere deadly. We shall keep going as it is different from the average and having a boat in the port, we get a discount!

We took the menu (entrée, plat, dessert) and were impressed by the quality of the food. The gazpacho soup was excellent, the freshly cooked bar was simply fantastic and the raspberry millefeuille did not disappoint... Good value for money given the freshness of the...products. The terrace overlooking the harbor was great. The staff was very friendly despite our late arrival and departure. Definitely a place we recommend!

determined to try after our French neighbour in le lavandou harbour, recommended it. book the balcony roof for view over the marina of flaviere. the choice on Euro menu was good. huge juicy local oysters to start. bark meat with maic, mushrooms, tomato and culinary delights. rouget red mullet risotto very good front good choice bottle local rose anglade w good would go back good choice on a hot evening as beautiful brise. port itself is modern and ugly. throw a walk to see the bigger yachts

we ate twice during our early April stay in bormes. the menu is not extensive, which allows them to concentrate on making good food at a reasonable price. we ate both the fish (st pierre) and the lamb and were perfectly satisfied with everyone. the low-level starter was just as good. the menu will change depending on seasonal products available. the location, with views of the marina becomes a joy in summer, with the elevated terrace. the wine recommendations were also of great value for the south france

with its limited menu (including other dishes) foie gras, boeuf rossini, agneau au will be those looking for traditional French cuisine. the chef, a friendly lady who does not hesitate to visit any of their customers, knows how to get a. reduction, fond de veau or fish. portionings are plentiful, ingredients optimized (the baba au rhum was divine). the place lacks this additional little sparkling that turns a meal into an extraordinary experience. Today it is not enough to be a big cook. in my opinion, the chef would benefit from giving her creativity more space. the current menu, as it is, does not bring her talent justice. to the manager, who kindly accused us despite all the hardships we...

we visited on a Sunday evening on september, shortly after the end of the high season. we asked for a table with views of the harbour. at the arrival we were assigned table it had no great prospect. we were the...just people in the restaurant and asked if we could move to another table in the middle of the balcony to get a better view. we were told to all other Baltics. we ordered our food. my wife had the psychic fillets that were excellent. I had the frying fiancée who was also excellent. I had dessert one that was excellent. overall an excellent meal, pampered by the customer service. the food service was excellent, polite, efficient and the food was served in a very reasonable time. what...

We ate here in the summer, we sat at a table with a nice view of the marina and the service was very good and attentive but not overly so. The thing that struck me was the starters seemed bigger than the mains. I had...the fish soup, which was very tasty but also pretty filling. My girlfriend had the salmon (also a big portion). The main was fish but with a meat sauce? I really did not get this combination, I eat a lot of fish but this was the first time I had meat gravy with it! (my girlfriend did like it, she's French so maybe I was not used to meat sauce with fish The portion was on the small side though, I think you pay more for the view service here? The dining room is set out as fine d...
