Lovely front of house staff but sour average coffee from a sour average barista.

Lovely and helpful staff. Decent food tho not the best pizza I've had aperol spritz wasn't stirred. Still, a nice spot on Granary Square and ideal for quick meal before catching a train.

Went there for pizza collection during COVID19 June. The pizza tastes like toilet paper. The base is almost transparent, so thin. Their tomato sauce is the worse I've tried in London and the pizza in general was dry like metal. Terrible!

Very disappointed, stopped by here whilst waiting for a train from King 's Cross. Would not recommend. We ordered The Fry which was underwhelming, very dry, eggs were cold. We also ordered slow cooked pork which was pan fried, not very tasty. Service was fine, but what you 're getting for your money and the quality/taste of the food is poor.

Wanted to go some where to get out of the cold. Ordered tea and dessert. The seating here is pretty rammed and whilst the staff is attentive, my hot drink arrived way later than the dessert. Had the pistachio tart, which is delicious. The ginger, turmeric and lemon tea was very good, nice kick with the lemon! Feel other caravan restaurants are laid out nicer. Not bad.

Surprising experience post lockdown. Staff have no face coverings, including waiting staff and chefs. Menu’s are reused. No hand sanitiser. No social distancing. Staff are literally leaning across you. Music is loud so people are shouting. Staff didn’t even know you can use contactless over £30 now. It’s clear they haven’t done anything to help with mitigation. We were pretty shocked.

It’s pretty hard to fault this branch of Caravan. Despite a pretty sizeable and frequently changing menu of small plates, they pull off almost every dish; packing plenty of different flavours and textures into each. There are dozens of other places attempting the same, modish pan-global small plates offering, and most don’t come close to this level of consistency. Wine selection is decent, service is always spot on and the place is comfy despite its size, terrace is lovely too, though it’s often insanely busy. Coffee is obviously ace.

Pity the staff during these times, almost nothing was done to protect them from possible COVID infection. A one way system, sort of, and a few less chairs to space patrons further apart. No masks, very noisy, music blaring, making it necessary to ‘lean in’ to order, I witnessed one server chatting away like nothing was different for ages clearly hadn’t been given any instruction in what social distancing is in the context of a restaurant. Seems like the owners don’t much care about staff or patrons won’t be returning till the pandemics over.

Had a really bad experience here yesterday. 1. We had a booking and were promptly seated at our table but their kitchen was running behind so they couldn't take our order for 1 hour!! They were not even transparent about it and told us this when we asked the server after waiting for 20 minutes. 2. When they did start taking orders, they did not go in any particular order. It was pretty random and people who showed up after us placed their orders before we did. 3. Staff was not wearing any PPE at all. No gloves or masks and no real attempt to keep some distance.
