"After eventually being able to book a table thro you as the maitre d refused to take a phone booking- we got to the restaurant and had to wait 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table-I chose to have the set menu- the caponata siciliano starter was ok but the bread it was on was burnt to a crisp and the crusts were like rubber- obviously microwaved- the pink minute steak was like shoe leather stone cold as were the potatoes-the pan a cotta was devoid of any fresh raspberries. Very disappointed as I love carluccios and have been a regular for a long time but the whole experience was very poor and I will be looking for a new Italian restaurant near me"

Although a chain it is always a treat eating at Carluccios. The staff are always super and efficient and friendlyI would highly recommend this place

The staff were non existent. After arriving we waited half an hour until I had to ask to order a drink. The drinks then took another 15mins to arrive. The food was average. Very disappointed as it was a beautiful setting being able to sit outside.

The food was was great and really tasty and the staff were fantastic really helpful. We both ate from the Festivi menu, the risotto and the chicken saltimbocca were absolutely great we never left a bit and the Pantone bread and butter pudding was to die for Speisekarte ansehen

The restaurant did not have a record of the booking despite being shown the email confirmation. The 'greeter ' was totally uninterested and devoid of any personality. We were left for 15 minutes before being asked if we would like a drink. It was only the service provided by our waiter that saved the day as we were very close to getting up and walking out. On one occasion a member of our party had to collect our drinks that had been left on the bar counter. Overall, not the best dining experience.

This review is for Thefork to read, as there is no section to add a note in your overall feedback template. A general note and suggestion from me is that it would be beneficial for you to personally test and taste a restaurant before including it in your list. A basic requirement for Italian recipe preparation is to at least cook the tomato sauce, as it is the foundation of Italian cuisine. This restaurant, like many others in the UK claiming to be Italian, is not even bothering to cook the tomato sauce. How can any dish be edible in this case? Thank you.
