Carluccio's Meadowhall

Lovely breakfast had the traditional and a pot of tea. My daughter had pancakes with pancetta and maple syrup. It was so scrumptious. Met Masie again who was delightful and looked after us. Thank you.

Fantastic food, great staff who are polite and friendly. Our waitress helped with menu choices. She was absolutely wonderful. We went for breakfast and an evening meal within the space a day. Great menu and great food. Definitely worth a visit

Basil or no basil? Have you ever heard of an Italian restaurant that doesn't offer basil as an ingredient on their menu? I hadn't until now. But now there's one - welcome to Carluccio's, the anti-basil restaurant. For authentic Italian cuisine, look elsewhere.

beautiful restaurant. the vegan menu is a little limited when it comes to the variety of foods, but they still have vegan options. we had the chicken catsu curry and the Korean BBQ chicken with a coconut salad. was nice eating, but it is spicy, so if they don't treat with their seasons, then maybe they try something they know will definitely not be spicy. my mouth was in flame.

I have to say, I was hoping for better. Carluccio's is known for being a upscale Italian restaurant. The service was great, no complaints there. I tried the Carluccio's burger, which was decent but a bit expensive and not very visually appealing. My wife ordered the chicken escalope with parma ham, rocket, and roast potatoes in a sage, white wine, and pesto sauce. She really enjoyed the sauce.

Booked a table this lunch time with a friend. Had to wait to be seated, wasn't happy with the short blonde lady who escorted us to our table, very Stern and very sharp we nearly walked back out. Then this young lady called Chloe came over to take our order. She was very friendly and professional and looked after us, totally changed my mind on this restaurant. Food very nice. Just want to give Chloe 10/10 for her excellent service

The new menu is lovely! This is one of our favourite places and we go there almost every Saturday evening. It's our treat to ourselves. We were not all all surprised to discover they had won the Best Restaurant in Sheffield award earlier this week. They deserve it they work their socks off! We are already looking forward to next Saturday and what we will be eating. Congratulations to all the staff, both front of house and in the kitchen!

Had to go to Sheffield for business and lucky me found one of my favourite restaurants. I was greeted by Ivor, the manager, really nice and funny guy and he took the time to explain me the new Christmas menu, from which I ordered the celeriac soup and the lobster and crab tortelloni, both dishes were outstanding, service was on point, polite, helpful but not intrusive. Overall a great experience. Ivor and the team can be proud of what they are doing

Today's lunch at Carluccios was quite a disappointment. The staff were great and very accommodating to my wheelchair needs, but the food left much to be desired. My husband's lasagne was tiny and lacked depth in flavor, while my mushroom risotto with chicken was just average in portion size. The waitress offered me parmigiana, but disappeared before bringing it to me. The dish itself was salty and the rice was undercooked. Dessert was the final disappointment, with a small portion of chocolate bread and butter pudding for my husband and a decent tiramisu for me. Overall, the prices were high and the portions were small, leaving us unsatisfied. We will not be returning to Carluccios.
