"I visited this restaurant years ago and was excited to return on a recent holiday. They have a separate menu for vegans and the staff are pleasant. However, I was ultimately disappointed with my meal. My toast was undercooked and overloaded with toppings, making it soggy. The tofu was not tasty and the avocado was completely black in the middle. I am hopeful that this was just a one-time issue as the restaurant has a lot of potential."

"What a fantastic spot! The bothy bar downstairs features live music on Fridays and Saturdays, creating an authentic bothy atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They offer a wonderful selection of local real ales that are well-kept and expertly served. Although we didn't try the food, it certainly looked appetizing. We visited on a particularly busy night, and I must commend the staff for how well they managed the crowd. Even though they were clearly rushed, they still ensured everyone had a great experience, including discounts on food for late arrivals. I highly recommend this place!"

"Fantastic restaurant in this hotel. We were not staying here but were made to feel very welcome and served up some delicious food at surprisingly good prices. I had the seabass, delicious with some lovely delicate flavours and beautifully presented, my husband had the vegetarian shepherds pie. He thoroughly enjoyed it and it was good to see that, not only did they have a great selection of vegetarian food but some imaginative thought had gone into it and it was all freshly made too. we couldn't resist the sticky toffee for desert and WOW! it was amazing!!! The staff were working very hard; it was the lead up to christmas and the restaurant was very busy, but they were all, not only professional but very pleasant and friendly with it; a real credit to the place. The whole experience was first class and we will definitely be back when next in Aviemore."

"This restaurant is primarily a takeaway spot, and I can't really picture dining in here. The pizza menu is quite limited and lacks creativity, with a strong emphasis on meat options. When I inquired about a Supreme pizza or one with everything, I was met with a puzzled look. While you can create your own pizza, this seems to be an uncommon practice, and it appears that the staff hasn't considered some of the unique combinations that are quite popular and successful outside the UK. However, the final product was tasty, and the service was quick and friendly."

"We visited the restaurant last night as a family of four and had a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our meal lasted about two hours, during which we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. The seafood chowder was delicious, and the children's half servings of soup were quite generous. From the baked fish to the venison burger and the chicken macduff, the main courses matched the starters in quality, and the desserts were equally impressive. Overall, it was honest, high-quality dining at an excellent value, making it perfect for families."
