Nice cosy restaurant in the well lnown rue Mouffetard area. Enjoy the spanish guitar duo and their romantic songs. The food was OK and the paella rich.

The paella was great, as were the appetizers, including octopus. There were two guitar players and singers (father and son?) who were very talented. The waiter was very friendly. A nice evening of Spanish food and culture.

If you are looking for a really fun place to host a group dinner in Paris, try Casa Pepe. The musicians are excellent and will keep you entertained as you sing along to classic Spanish songs. The paella is good (not great) but the atmosphere makes up for it.

We had a lovely meal on the Rue Mouffetard at the Casa Pepe. The service was excellent; staff was attentive, made food recommendations, and helped with the menu. The starters of salad and octopus were good and the paella was very good. The entertainment is wonderful. The music is very loud and there are very few breaks in which you can actually talk to your dinner companions, but the musicians are very talented and made the evening very enjoyable.

Spanish food, We went for a shared Tapas type meal as we were not very hungry. but we ended up with four or five tapas plates.This is a very atmospheric restaurant, everyone speaks Spanish first, then French then English. So if you want to get out of going to restaurants where when you ask for something in their language the waiter immediately goes over to English. This is the place. The whole area is popular with 20-40 some-things, and a lot of the affluent Studenti! Probably from the Sorbonne or where ever. It was not a yobbish area or Place so it was nice.
