Can not recommend this place enough! Such friendly people and even better food! Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, this place still had such an amazing atmosphere whilst keeping COVID secure.

Yes, the vegans came back and we had takeaway this time. This restaurant is incredible and the staff are so friendly.We had delicious vegan and non vegan food, the crespello, pizza Siciliana, penne pesto and garlic breads were all delicious. Thank you for your delightful...food!

This visit was to celebrate a family member's 40th birthday and we all had a great time. The service from all the staff was outstanding. I started with a starter that was large enough to be a main course. Unfortunately, my main course pizza was a bit disappointing, which is why I am giving it just under 5 stars.

The service at the restaurant was impressive, but the food left something to be desired. We had made a reservation for four people, and two of us ordered snails, but they were very small after being removed from their shells. They tasted old and were dry, making it difficult to enjoy them in the absence of any broth. The main courses were okay, but the meat dishes lacked bones and were underwhelming. After months in lockdown, myself and my soon to be husband are finally back at Casanova. Angie and Lucy were serving us tonight with Salvo and Guiseppe in the kitchen. Well, all I can say is wow. With new options on the menu after the...reopen, I had to try the Strascinati con Asparagi (photo) which was one of the new dishes. Absolutely amazing. Very creamy and very filling. It’s been so long since we came out we have missed all of this. Angie, Salvo and Lucy do not disappoint. The wine to die for, the food undeniably the best in Sheffield! We frequent restaurants all over, but never feel compelled to write...anything unless it actually WOWs us. Casanovas certainly do! Come as a couple, come as a family, why not come as a business meeting one for your favourites ladies and gentlemen. Come try out a slice of Sheffield’s pure Italian cuisine. With the best wines imported from Italy and Sicily.

We went to this restaurant with some friends for an early evening meal before attending a jazz gig in Sheffield. The atmosphere was cozy and the sound quality was good. They offer a variety of traditional Italian dishes, including garlic and tomato focaccia. We tried four different main dishes and all of them were excellent. The restaurant is spacious and airy, which feels safe during these Covid-conscious times. The service was quick and helpful without feeling rushed.
