"My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the Castle. The set menu at 29 Eurostar for 3 courses (you get an extra starter dish so actually 4 courses) offers very good value simply because of the quality of the cooking and the freshness value f the ingredients. I had the Salmon on waffles for starters the citrus purée is superb and the salmon beautiful? My wife had the milllets which were equally enjoyable, for main I paid the additional surcharge for the beef in foie gras sauce which was all of the highest quality that said having seen and tasted my Wife's pork and Linguine I think you could go for that option and having an equally enjoyable meal without the surcease. Finally the dessert the pistachio option was sublime. My complaints are small but the wine is expensive we went for the 2010 Bordeaux merlot/cab sav and if did not meet our expectation for French wine, also the occasional fly is difficult to avoid during June in France but still frustrating all the same. The waiting staff were very busy and attentive. Please go though for the chef and the kitchen."

Menu of the day was excellent : a tartare with foie gras and smell of thyme followed by a piece of tuna fish , excellently prepared. All that with a desert for 29 euro. Excellent chardonnay an red loire wine to go with it. Only minus point : no normal beers only ruby leffe which is way too sweet
