Cat Nab Fish N Chips

Visited the cafe and shared a seafood platter with my husband. It was delicious and all freshly cooked. Definitely visit again.

Called at Cat Nab tonight after work for a treat tea. The fish was small, tasteless, really wet and hardly any batter. The chips were cold and hard like they had been sat all day. Needless to say hubby's fish and chips went in the bin

Called in for tea the staff were really friendly and the owner was very attentive. The chips were easily the best we’ve ever had my daughter never eats chips and she had extra because they were so nice. I had the fish and it was beautiful and clean. Really delicious meal thoroughly recommended

Had a latte and a cappuccino here, £2 per cup so couldn’t expect too much but both produced from a small coffee machine and both were tasteless frothy hot water slightly flavoured with something passed off as coffee. Couldn’t be bothered to complain so my own fault but I’d give this one a miss, shocking quality drinks. Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely spot on fish and chips. Eat here (sitting outside) a few times and perfect fish and chips every time. Lovely light crispy batter, stunning white flakey fish, golden delicious chips and the mushy peas and curry sauce spot on as well. Easily as good as any fish and chips I have ever had and living only 10 minutes drive away is a real bonus.

Terrible service, rude rude staff!! I expect a wait at busy times,but when I noticed 5 groups behind were getting served food before me I simply asked as I was number 84 on the ticket I was given and they were serving number 90. Only to get a mouthful of abuse from what I can only describe as a ‘chav’ with a BAD attitude! Food was average. Staff need some lessons in manners wouldn’t waste my money here again! Completely disappointed

Decided to have fish and chips sitting in the cafe. We entered the cafe to be confronted by a notice advising us the wait to be seated....er, in a cafe. Service was pretty quick, but we weren't allowed to sit where we wanted, seemingly on the basis that where we wanted was a four seater and we were only two. Very limited menu, so we had fish and chips. There wasn't much else, but it was after all, a chippy! Both our meals were really good; crisp, not greasy, hot and good portions. They had a young staff, but they were very conscientious and the service was good. Speisekarte ansehen
