Nice small restaurant with typical italian food. Many reviews on this place are somewhat overpromising. Not that it is not OK, but no more than that. One recommendation : avoid the housewine.

I was dining alone, and my BnB owner suggested a few places, this was the first one. I loved it. I had a prosciutto starter and it was seriously some of the best prosciutto I have ever had. I also had a beef dish that was out of this world. The wine by the glass was just excellent and the best part is that I was made welcome by the staff which isn't always the case when you're eating alone. Thoroughly enjoyable meal prepared with care.

It was a Sunday in November, there was a vicious thunder storm so by the time it passed through it was already 1:30. We set out to find somewhere for a spot of lunch and found this open. Cavatappi (corkscrew) was a lucky find. It is a warm, cosy space which appears to be family owned. Service was friendly and very helpful and we took our time. We started with something similar to beef carpaccio which was really delicious. Mains were wild boar pasta and a beef dish which had been cooked for 4 hours, both excellent We had not planned 'dolci ' but gave in and had creme brulee which was in full brulee mode when delivered to the table.
