"I was in a couple of times, last to the breakfast. I would have to compete with some of the other reviewers that eating is great, the service is good, but sometimes obstructed by a lack of sufficient English and it will be very fast loud if there is a reasonable number of people. Don't take that table on the stairs, either I've always been afraid that I'm standing backwards and falling down, or that I'm being cheated by someone who's coming in a hurry. even on weekdays, the desire is even worse when the young things come after work for a drink. once I left without waiting for dessert or coffee, as the antik at the bar has got a bit much. eat good sorts, good...read more"

beautiful modern restaurant with British menu. I had her Sunday roasted bark meat completely with yorkshire pudding, roasted kartoffels, pickled cabbage, gravy and healthy part of carrots and brokkoli. the bark was very delicate and the vegetables were nicely cooked. then greedy I decided to have sticky toffee pudding for dessert that was soou yummy! I could also try my nabeby dessert (cheesecake,) which was just as delicious. the only part is that the place gets very loud when it is the whole house. but I'll be back soon to get more good food!

I love blackheath. this pulsating, pulsating small village is full of some fantastic pubs bars, many restaurants and has a real feeling of community and village atmosphere. it also has a great history as it is known until 1166 – then as blachehedfeld. the only part in blackheath is that london is getting more and more busy and the village a through from south london to the city center means that it can be very busy here. at the top of the village, right at the heath sits kapitel blackheath. a cozy, intimate restaurant serving with a full-day dining feeling, the exquisite service and eating.

wanted to write a quick review of our meal in restaurant today and say how despised we were with the terrible service. we arrived for a 12.45 booking and yes we waited ten minutes for the rest of our party (table booked for six,) but we were not offered drinks while we waited, nor were we offered drinks when the others arrived in the party that lasted at least ten minutes. when we finally placed our orders, the starters arrived in a reasonable time, but then we had to ask to delete the teller and it took at least half an hour after the drop of the teller (if no longer) to come for the main meal. to the point we had to ask where the food was and whether it...read more
