Great service but the prices are so high for the food you get.drinks also very expensive so would not go again.menu had sticky sauce on it tables aee sticky and they are charging high end prices.

The takeaway meals are superb, everything is so fresh and tastes amazing! Our favourites are the crispy duck pancakes, king prawns with mixed veggies and garlic, salt and pepper chicken, and koong boo chicken

Food was top quality, my only gripe was the cost, £90.00 for two of us was high, service was also very good and Mr Chow is a fantastic host. Lovely venue, but the cost left a sour taste, we would probably try somewhere cheaper. Speisekarte ansehen

I have been lucky enough to eat at Chows (takeaways and dining numerous times over the last 23 years and am so happy it has opened again and didn’t succumb to Covid. Despite a much simpler menu and several of my favourite things not being on the new menu (in particular steamed fish with ginger, spring onions and chilli if you’re reading! this is quite simply a phenomenal Chinese restaurant and the quality of the takeaway is so far above any other I have ever had. Here’s to the next 23 years!

This is the first time we have used Chow’s for a takeaway after being a bit tired with the usual Chinese takeaways in Oxted and Westerham which all have the same quality and taste. We were blown away by the difference, the duck in honey and the chilli beef in particular were delicious! Chow’s is probably the best Chinese we have tried with none of the aftertaste you usually have in Chinese takeaways. We will be very happy to keep using them. They are more expensive than most other takeaways but well worth the treat.

If you want a proper Chinese meal that tastes out of this world then now is the time and Chow’s is the place. They have a guest chef from a London restaurant whilst its being refurbished and I can honestly say his food is amazing. Chow’s have a fairly simple menu post covid but ask for the platter as a starter and it won’t disappoint. My favourites: Sharing platter Crispy duck Salt pepper prawns Crispy Chilly Beef Chicken ginger The staff are fun and friendly Only negative is that toilets are downstairs so if you are visiting with anyone who is infirm or need accessibility you may struggle. What can I say: only three members of waiting staff on a busy Friday night which meant an excruciatingly slow service (and included the chef having to come out and help serve at times). Only one of those staff members could handle the card payments so we had to ask three times to pay our bill. A table which arrived after us were served before us. All this left a really poor taste in our mouths (pun not intended) which is a real shame because the food was actually pretty decent (although it was more expensive than we thought it would be). We've been three times, but unfortunately this will be our last time.

First visit back since re opening and regretably the changes that have taken place are definitely not for the better. To start with the crisp clean tablecloths are no more, the hand written menus the size of the Times newspaper leave a lot to be desired with several of the old favourites now missing. The ambience is not improved by the removal of carpeting replaced by look a like wood flooring. The wine list, if you can call it that, has only three red and three white listed and rose hasno more choice. The food bowls for each customer have reduced in size and the main courses contain less quantity because the plates they are served on are smaller. Finally no hot plates or those little compli...

So pleased to have the great restaurant finally open. After reading the reviews we were a bit apprehensive but decided we need to support local and give it a try. Yes the restaurant has been redecorated but it’s stylish and there is lots of space between tables so you don’t feel squashed in like sardines. Yes the menus have changed and they are quite big and encapsulated but I’m assuming this is so they can be sprayed and wiped before being handed out and yes the food has had a little revamp. I was so disappointed that the sesame prawns on toast were missing as they were always the best. However David recommended trying the S&P prawns and wow what a recommendation.
