"Went for a meal here on 29th may with my brother and sister in law.been there a few times and always enjoyed the belly pork it 's lovely however on this night it 's wasn 't on the black board as all there menus are on there . My wife said ask them as they may still have it.so asked the lady behind the bar 'who I believe is land lords daughter ' if they had any her reply was well do you see it on the board.if it 's not on there we haven 't got it . Very rude person if it wasn 't for the fact that the others wanted to stay there would have walked out"

We booked a table for 6 on Saturday evening during pirate weekend. All the food was amazing and portions were surprisingly large. All home made and very tasty very reasonably priced. Definitely visiting again next time we are in Plymouth,

Small tucked away pub/restaurant. Don't be misled by the deminutive exterior it has a deceptively large interior. Strongly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. Really nice olde worlde village pud atmosphere. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled 1st class. Real homemade cut chips fresh side salads and generous portions. Good selection of on tap ciders beers and ales.
