Love this place staff are very friendly and nice. Great atmosphere always we go here quite a lot. The food is excellent every time and not too expensive.

Decided to put a review as have had 20 visits now over the last 20 months. Always friendly. Always nicely presented food. Always perfectly cooked each visit we've had. Nice cosy feel to the bar and eating area. Will keep visiting.

We hired the skittle alley for our daughters 18th in december 23. It was perfect, cosy and just right. They supplied what we needed to include pool table twinkly lights and tv screen for memeroble photos. It was well priced for 3 hr hire. And...

This is the second time in the last couple of weeks we have visited this pub and the food was a delight on both occasions. We chose from the 2 pub classics from £11.49 both times and the fish and chips and chicken tikka masala were lovely. Good quality, decent sized portions and reasonably priced. We love this pub and always dine here when in the area. We were there last night and, as usual, the food was fantastic. We started with Vegan Meatballs and Halloumi chips, both delicious. For our mains, my husband had Halloumi and chips, while I had Cod and chips. Both dishes were very good and very filling. Our server, who I believe was named Melissa, was extremely friendly and excellent at her job. She was a great communicator. I highly recommend this pub.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly young woman. Despite not finding our online booking, we were still seated in a cozy corner with our three dogs. We both enjoyed the roast beef, complete with homemade Yorkshire pudding, tender beef, fresh vegetables, and cauliflower cheese. I was pleased that there was no red cabbage as a filler on the plate. It was a satisfying and delicious Sunday roast with extra gravy. Upon checking, I realized we had mistakenly booked for Sunday the 25th. Additionally, there was a good butcher's van in the car park selling hand-raised pork pies.

My wife and myself were recommended to go to the Coach Horses for lunch we were greeted by a young lady who told us and showed to sign in our reg on our car , we had not booked a table and as they were busy we had to sit in the bar for our meal but it was perfectly fine clean and comfortable ordering at the bar was easy and served by a very polite and helpful bar man, we both had a Hunters Chicken and this is one i often choose as it is one my favourite meals so i know when this done well and bang on absolutely perfect and the sauce on it was perfection.
