"Great food everything that we had was fantastic. The only downside was the service for two reasons. we had to remind the waiting staff several times for things we'd asked for e.g. wine, water etc I ordered a green veg salad with quinoa which was meant to come with broccoli, mangetout etc, but arrived as just lettuce leaves. I pointed out that it was wrong, but the waitress tried to style it out saying it was the vegetable. I had to both point to the table next to us who had the right one, and also poke through the salad to show there was literally nothing but lettuce leaves there for her to finally accept that she might need to change it. Bit of a shame as the food is truly excellent"

Waitress on her first day was great! Really impressed with the selection of nonmeat options, as a vege I was a bit worried about going there but I was not disappointed. Who needs chicken

I booked a table for 8.15pm on Sunday and was asked on the form if it was a special occasion. I noted that it was our anniversary. We arrived and then discovered that the restaurant closed at 9pm. It was the most rushed dinner, not cheap and they had run out of some beer and the vegetarian salads we requested. No ambience as there were no other customers. I’m sure they just had had a busy day but it would have been useful to have been told that they would be closing 45 minutes later when I booked.
