We enjoyed a multi-course dinner at this restaurant. Both the eggplant parmigiana and the pappardelle with tomatoes and pine nuts were superb. The presentation of the dishes and the service were also excellent.

I stayed in this restaurant in August during a stay at the hotel villa cappugi. in general I ate well, but I was not particularly impressed by some dish in particular. in particular I was not very satisfied by the semi-freddo. Speisekarte ansehen

It's a pity to notice after few years as regular customers a very poor quality of food these days. They serve bread that is not fresh and sea food frankly with no taste at all. The other tuscan dishes are overpriced and less than average. Really not recommended. Just the staff is nice.

We arrived late in the evening to the hotel and decided to give a chance to this restaurant, next door to it... What a good decision we made! First quality products, wide selection in the menu in a calm and raffinate place... The bill fits to the standard of the cooking and services... We all appreciated (teens and adults). We were staying at the Villa Capuggi and so HAD to try the restaurant too. We were so happy to have done so as the meals we had were delicious from the local steak to the delicious grilled vegetables. Of course the wine was good too!! The waiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour as well. The weather was good during our stay and it is possible to eat outside, but we chose to eat indoors and enjoy the cool atmosphere while we ate. We definitely want to return.

Delicious food efficient service more than made up for the lack of ambience in the stark white conservatory dining area. We chose from the daily menu of pasta, main course mineral water for 20€ per person. The generous helpings of farfalle with four cheese sauce and the gnocchi with tomatoes mozzarella provided a very satisfying start to the meal, along with some local Chianti wine. We chose swordfish with green salad potatoes and roast beef with baked potatoes for our main courses and they too were delicious. A very pleasant and relaxing meal.

Once at the table we notice that all the staff follow the prescribed rules (mask). The mise en place is simple but still in fabric. The dishes offered were appreciated, even if the wine chosen from the list arrived very hot for my taste, but they immediately brought us a frappeuse with ice where it could be brought to the ideal temperature for serving. The local charcuterie appetizers were good, as were the main dishes. Those who tasted the desserts did not seem sorry at all ... even if a glass of Vin Santo with the famous Tuscan biscuits Cantucci was tasted 100%. Speisekarte ansehen
