"The food was okay, the service was fair, the ambience was bad due to CONvid, which seems to do any excuse as little as possible. Not sure we come back, our booking was for 19:45, as CONvid lives at 18:00, we previously dinned. We only discovered our inability to dinate 19:45 by calling the venue, no contact was received from the venue before our call. We are all about supporting the economy at this time, but if a venue concentrates as little as possible, it does not motivate to return."

"lunch on the malt whisky trail. tables full, but we could eat at the bar, result. young girl who served us was friendly and efficient. the food was fantastic and plentiful. great experience when she was in jailour. friendly staff, good eating, great atmosphere and plenty of whisky to choose. what is not to like! highly recommended."

"The good: Quaich Bar upstairs in The Craigellachie Hotel has a fantastic selection of whiskies which is great for pre- or post-dinner drinks. The ok: They offer 3 cask beer selections. The service is decent. The lacking: Food quality! I shared 3 apps and 1 entree with a friend: Cullen Skink: Mostly potato and cream, bones in the fish pieces, not much flavor. Haggis: It came cold. Haggis is supposed to be served hot. Beeps and tatties were also cold as well. Not much flavor even with the brown sauce. Crowdie with beet root and apple salad: Very small pieces of apple and beet root. Crowdie had little flavor. Beer-Battered Haddock Chips: Crust was thick and tough. Fish was bland though ok flaky. The mushy peas were the better party of the dish. I would come back for drinks but would probably look elsewhere for food."

"So disappointed after receiving a voucher from my daughter for our 45th wedding anniversary, we expected a really good meal. I had a buffalo burger which was good, however my husband ordered pork. His meal consisted of two small squares of pork loin (which was a bit chewy) and one square of pork belly which he said was tasty and wished there was more! These squares were about 2 inches! Along with the pork, he had a dribble of jus which was drying up fast, 3 narrow sticks of very sour rhubarb and nothing else. For £24, it was a shocking main course. We shared my chips which were good but it was ridiculous he did not have a potato or veg of some description on his plate. I then ordered lemon meringue tart for pudding. The pastry was uncooked, the lemon filling and meringue were bland. My daughter and son in law had been there a few months ago and received a good meal, so we were expecting the same. I had mentioned it was our sapphire anniversary and expected a balloon on the table as a nice gesture, which is usually the case at other hotels but no acknowledgment whatsoever of our special occasion. So disappointed!!"

"Aberlour is absurdly beautiful and if you want a central and very cozy place to stay, this is The Aberlour Hotel! The room was much bigger than I thought, with a large bathroom with a great shower and smelling amenities. The room already has hangers, bathrobes and slippers, a good TV and items for making tea and coffee. The hotel has dining facilities and a bar with the best cider I had in Scotland. The food is delicious, both for dinner and breakfast! It is very close to the Aberlour distillery and the GlenAllichie distillery, you can walk to both. I recommend seeing the surroundings, especially the bridge over the River Spey. There is a market next to the hotel with lots of delicious and fresh things, great for buying water or some sweets. If you are traveling by car, the hotel has its own parking. Walkability: You can walk to the Aberlour and GlenAllichie distilleries, which is great if you're going on one of the Whiskey tasting tours."
