"We visited based on strong ratings on websites. We're the only table at about 8.30pm and 3- 5 tables filled up in the next hour or so.Service as friendly and the menu was Google-translated leading to some interesting names (e.g., 'Kangarooe') for the set menu which were pretty standard french fares. The normal menu was not mentioned. In short we were all impressed with the appetizer with foie gras, scallops with its preparation, quality, and appearance. Salmon main dish was good 'Mediterrenean' quality, with higher oiliness and better taste than those in the US but not as good as those from the Nordic. A tartare de charolais was ordered but a steak was served. On being questioned, the server said that's their tartare de charolais. The language was an issue but this was unexpected. The steak was cooked to medium rare/medium but chewy and not enjoyable. Their house raspberry pie was really fresh and outstanding. All in all, the main dishes were disappointing that evening and we wished we had enjoyed more to the level of praise given by others."

nice welcome I think by the owner himself. lots of choice on the menu . i ordered a terre et mer as starter and a veal with cepes , the food was nicely presented and the most important the tast was really good and nicely cooked. congrats keep it up.

Dined at this restaurant last night with my daughter. Have to start with a negativec( for me) the owner/patron spoke no English and unfortunately I speak no French. I called in earlier in the day and with a mixture of hand signals and desperate expressions, managed to secure a table for 9pmWe turned up and Gilles( the owner was charm in itself, and we ended up leaving the whole thing including different wines for different courses to him!! Bit of a risk I know, but everything turned out great. We had foi gras, salad with gambas to start. Then red mullet and beef. Finished with some sort of bread thing soaked in rum, which was brilliant and a raspberry tart with cream which was equally lovely...
