Creperie du Chevalier

Nice little bite on limited menu. Quick service but we were sole diners. Interesting but limited, if you are looking to dine as opposed to eat This is not the spot

We had crepes here but although lovely I thought they were rather expensive for what they were. 9.50 Euros for an apple filled creep with one scoop of ice cream and a little spray cream.

Charming location and staff was awesome. Catered extraordinarily well for my wife's gluten intolerance, food was spectacular and prices are just right. The French waiter was just lovely. Our son fell asleep and bedded him on two cushions. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited Entreveaux, the citadielle of course. Then went for a light lunch in this place. Service was amazing, I paid 14euros per a veggie crepe and a glass of wine. Food wasn't espectacular but good. If you are visiting the town and wanna save money there's a grocery store that closes on Sundays!

After a tough walk to the citadel in Entrevaux we followed the signs all the way down to the Creperie du Chevalier while enjoying the medieval architecture of the old town. Although very busy the charming waiter paid us attention with local cider and great crepes! Great omelet (eggs sunny side up) and ice cream as well! Nice for an informal lunch or even dinner.

Quaint little creperie, tucked away but well signposted from the town gate. Lovely simple menu of salads, omelettes and crepes. Salad was varied and tasty. Crepes were esp good. My daughter had a ham, cheese and onion, cooked in honey, which was delicious. Staff were attentive and warm, for example, noticing I was in the sun and getting a parasol. If you are passing through Entrevaux, this is the place for a light meal. We had a salmon crepe and a cured beef crepe. Both were excellent. Combined with a small carafe of local rose wine, and sitting at a table in front of the restaurant, this made for the quintessential small village, French meal. The owner speaks very little English, but works hard at understanding what you want. Fortunately for those who don't speak French, they've planned ahead for the tourists and have the menus in French and English. This is a great place for a bite while savoring this wonderful little village. Cheers!

Quite a nice venue with a raised terrace platform. The restaurant was not busy when we got there, but it took 10 to 15 minutes to get served, and we had to do drinks first, and then the waitress said she would return to take the food order (another 10 minute wait.) There was a couple who arrived after us who consistently got served before us which was frustrating. Once we had ordered there was an overly long wait for the food, with one of the dishes arriving a good 5 mins after the others. I dont mind waiting for food if it is worth waiting for - sadly this wasnt - there were 5 of us, and all of the dishes were poor to average. Overall very disappointing and frustrating experience. Set in a quiet street just up from the church, this is an unpretentious place serving delicious galettes, crepes and, of course, cider. There are some outside tables where you can sit and relax after the fairly strenuous ( but worthwhile) hike up to the castle. The service is efficient and friendly and the food is what it is - perfect comfort food that the whole family will enjoy. One big bonus: it's open later in the afternoon than the other restaurants in Entrevaux, for which we were thankful otherwise we faced a trip back to Nice with empty stomachs....Entrevaux is a great place to spend a few hours, with a hike to the castle and a walk round the ramparts essential.
