Smashing wee local pub that happens to do great food. Busy, even mid week, so book in advance. Lovely staff too.

On a busy Saturday evening the staff made us feel that we were the most important diners and the food was exquisite. Is this really a local pub?

Charming pub with excellent outdoor spaces both at the front and back, along with a nice variety of quality beers. The only drawback was the unfriendly bartender.

Tonight we have been for a last minute tea. Fantastic! Amazing steak cooked perfectly. Children’s meal fabulous. My daughter enjoyed her tea with a pudding included in the price! Speisekarte ansehen

We visited for the first time for my husbands birthday and we had a great night. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you! We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely people, nice atmosphere and nice food. Well presented food, good specials board. Open fire and good decor. Only X2 real ales on when we went, but looks like there are probably 5 on when busier. Garden to rear of pub looks good for summer and parking at the rear also. I'll be going again

We stopped by on Friday night after getting settled at a nearby campsite. The pub was bustling, which was nice to see. The food was delicious and met all our expectations, and the service was commendable, especially considering the waitress was out sick. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again.
