Lovely local pub with great quality food and really friendly, welcoming staff. For a small pub they cater well for veggies and vegans. Sunday dinner is lovely too!

I would like to thank the staff for there kindness and assistance when arriving they couldn't have been more helpful.We had a lovely Sunday lunch great meal, sat outside. Brilliant service highly recommend.

very relaxed place during the days, we sat in the garden veranda area. her 'ultimate vegan burger was nice, although a bit too high to chomp with two burgers, the salsa and chips were divine! not too sure about the wobble and pickle on a spits.

I recently visited The Crown in Monk Fryston for the first time. The food and service were excellent, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Crown Burger, which was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant more frequently in the future!

very good value and nice eating and service. we came after visiting the high-time chavyre in the monk fryston hall on the road where I am getting married next year, so wanted to taste the local village pub and was not disappointed, it was a great place to go with my family a dfuture husband and enjoy a beautiful Sunday dinner:

What a hidden gem! We decided to try the lamb burger special for lunch and it did not disappoint. The only downside was the slightly high bill. The quality of the food was top-notch, especially the spuds and roasted garlic side. The atmosphere was lovely and it seems like a popular spot. Definitely a great choice for a meal in the middle of the day. Well done!

some friends who had traveled from Scotland for dinner, just to let our ears radiate from the bad quality Tanoy system, because I didn't know when I booked that it was a 3 hours quiz night. several attempts have been made to reduce the volume. to be greeted by only one buzz by another speaker. eating was ok, but why it took 1 hour to get from an unapologetic waiter when the restaurant looked empty.

We have been to this restaurant before and recently visited again with our three children. The staff was friendly and attentive when we arrived. We ordered our drinks, food, and sat in the garden while the kids played. Our food arrived promptly and was well presented with great value for money. I had the steak pie and mash, the meat was tender and the gravy delicious with a perfect pastry lid. The veggies and mash were also cooked perfectly. My partner enjoyed the kronburger, a large portion that left him feeling full. The children also enjoyed their meals generously. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience with great food, service, and price-quality ratio. We will definitely be returning...

Fabulous Place. I always reserve providing good reviews until I have eaten somewhere several times. My family and I have now eaten here 3 times, once mid week and twice on a Sunday. The food is absolutely excellent as is the service and all staff who work there. You couldn't ask for a warmer welcome and better service the owners/managers are every bit as friendly and helpful as their wonderful staff. There is a great choice on the menu and most of the dishes come as a smaller option. The quality of the meat is first class and portion sizes are generous.
