Dolly Blue - Speisekarte

Great informal bar with a good selection of beer and food. Food quality very good. Sky TV and a large patio overlooking the river.

Just had an amazing meal at the dolly blue bar. Food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. Bar man/ waiter was polite and attentive off to enjoy there pool now.

A evening meal with family and friends, the food was OK and reasonable priced, the staff where very friendly, the view from the Bar is fantasic and on warm nights you can sit outside. Speisekarte ansehen

We are in the hotel on our last night and I was very impressed with the food. There were a range of good meals available and it was a difficult choice. My trout starter was beautiful and the steak with Jenga chips was quite a tasty plateful. Service was very good too. Worth a visit

We had dinner at the dolly blue, the BRitish staff were chatty and friendly and the chef was very helpful too. The meal was plentiful and my steak was one of the best I've eaten. My husband had a burger and really enjoyed it. It was really nice as it was a sunny day to look out onto the lovely scenery outside.

Was fly's all around us , dirty chairs, overall needs a good clean , not a lot to choose from , was brought more fish as server kmew it was a very small fish and the bread was stale my mother had to ask for more bread , we had one drink then was chrged for 2 server booked it out to wrong room still waiting for a refund on that Speisekarte ansehen

tired and hungry and keen to watch the football. Bar clean and light. Only 1 barman/ waiter who was very courteous. Usually you can't go wrong with steak and chips but either the meat was poor quality or cooked wrong because it tasted like it had been cooked in the oven for too long! Dry and leather like. Felt to polite to say at the time as waiter and chef seemed so nice.

We are here one night we were staying at the hotel. The food was pretty good, a little expensive for what it was, but no complaints over the food itself. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a quiet night, and there was a music channel on the TV blasting out. We didn't mind this but I could imagine other couples or parties not enjoying it. Overall pretty good though

My brother and his partner visited me in Cumbria to celebrate his 55th birthday. His requirement was 'a good steak ' and he certainly got that with all the trimmings at the newly refurbished (after the December 2015 floods) Dolly Blue Bar. His partner had the Cajun chicken with salad and a side, I had the steak burger and they were all delicious.The new chef and servers in Dolly Blue provided superb cuisine and excellent service.
