We had a wonderful dinner at East Kent a few months back! The patio is lovely and ideal for warm weather. The crab linguine was particularly delicious, and they offer a great selection of sharing plates. Speisekarte ansehen

Extensive menu but because of food intolerances I could only order the burger. It was a minced mix of kangaroo and beef, and cooked medium. It was delicious. The coleslaw was freshly made and tasty. My friends Thai beef salad was also good. Cold night with no heating made it an uncomfortable visit.

We had lunch, with our dogs under the table at our feet. All five of us received a very warm welcome and enjoyed the informal atmosphere. Food was excellent with plenty of options for those who don't eat meat, whilst I enjoyed the steak. A first class pint of Masterbrew rounded off the occasion. Recommended for family friends lunches

Excellent pub with a Sunday roast par excellence. Excellent beef and all the well cooked veg, potatoes and Yorkshire with a gravy boat and horseradish sauce to knock your socks off. Everything is very clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Tom served us and was a joy.will always be back for Sunday roast when visiting. Keep up the good work. Speisekarte ansehen

We recently discovered a fantastic new pub in Whitstable that just reopened under the ownership of a vibrant young couple. The menu features a variety of intriguing dishes made with local ingredients. The decor is stunning, showcasing a great style that adds to the atmosphere. The staff are wonderful and attentive. During our weekend in Whitstable, we ended up visiting East Kent three times—it was that good!

Top notch food. Three of us were seated without booking, out of season at Saturday lunch time. Super friendly table service and there looks to be a nice seated outdoor space, with heaters at the rear. Try the white crab chili linguine and a local ale. Busy but not crowded. It would be easy to walk past this place because of the busy junction location but it's well worth dropping in and giving it a go. Recommended by staff at The Fountain (as they weren't serving food).

We managed to get a last minute reservation here on Saturday night 26th Feb and loved it! We had a great table for 2 in the window. The service was friendly and helpful. We ordered a few small plates bao buns, trout pate, shrimps, cauliflower bites, mac n cheese chips way too much food but we were starving. The food was delicious and tasted freshly made. Staff were great and got together a doggy bag with the leftovers. I can't finish this review without mentioning the best gin tonic I've had for a while lemon drizzle with ginger ale!!
